I cannot imagine a worse siding company than Obermiller Seamless. They installed siding on my…read moreproperty that had more dents in the siding than the hail damaged siding they were replacing. They were called back to fix numerous careless mistakes on the property but still have not replaced the siding they installed. They also damaged new sliding doors that were installed two weeks prior to them installing the dented siding. They attempted to hide these dents by covering them with paint. Their insurance company adjuster concurred that they caused the damage to both the doors and the siding. However, Obemiller has a shady insurance company (Motorist, read the reviews), and getting a settlement from the insurance company to cover the door repairs has been just as hard as getting a quality completed project from Obermiller. Obermiller's insurance will not cover the damage caused by them to their own siding project. Barry Obermiller is a shady businessman and I suggest that no one ever does business with him. His crew had no respect for my property and damaged gutters and left cigarette butts laying around my property. Do yourself a favor and never do business with this worthless company.

We were told there was a lifetime warranty against defects and breakage, no matter the cause. They had been installed for only a very short time when a window cracked. When that happened, there was plastic inside and screen outside. I notified them immediately, but it took countless telephone calls and a three month wait before they replaced it. Then seals started leaking on the double pane windows. We had to wait another three months before they replaced one. When I complained about the long wait, they said they weren't going to replace any more of them. I had to do it myself. The contract specified aluminum screens. The patio door screens came with fiberglas screens. They refused to replace them with aluminum, but told me to take them to Ace Hardware and have them do it. Also, the patio door screens are so built so flimsily they won't even stay on the tracks and are unusable. The patio doors open with such difficulty that it takes an adult to do it. The installation was done as shoddily as the quality of the materials. When rain is accompanied by wind, which it usually is in our area, rain leaks in around the window frame. Barry Obermiller refuses to do anything to correct these ongoing problems. Obermiller Seamless created a nightmare for me with their windows, yet they continue to advertise, "We'll go to any length to beautify your home."

Was interrupted in the middle of a phone call and told we were NOT ALLOWED to complain about their policy and if we didn't like it, we could leave and go elsewhere. We did just that and will NEVER shop at Menards again. We had masks in our pockets but left due to the rude, audacious way we were accosted and treated. Way to alienate, piss off, and lose customers.

I signed a contract with this company last year after being told by one of the owners they could…read morecomplete the work before the end of the year. I paid half upfront, but after that, communication became nearly impossible. I couldn't reach the owner again until I called the office in February. They installed one out of the three garage doors -- with the wrong track -- and then came back three weeks later to install the other two doors (but without openers). Two weeks after that, they finally installed the openers. Another two weeks later, they returned to fix the first door's track, and in the process, damaged five panels across all three doors. Despite this, they sent me a final invoice before the correct track was even installed. I told them I wouldn't pay the remaining balance until the damage was addressed. They claimed the damaged panels would be covered under warranty, but I explained that warranty work should apply after a job is completed properly -- this job was never brought to a finished, acceptable standard. In August, they said they would come out to replace two of the five damaged panels. They never showed up. I called, and they told me they "ran out of time" and would reschedule for the next week. Two weeks later -- still nothing, and no communication. This entire process has been unprofessional and disorganized. The craftsmanship, communication, and business practices have been some of the worst I've experienced. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your garage door needs. If there's a silver lining, maybe the owner meant they'd get the job done by the end of this year -- over a year late.
