Terribly rude staff. Refused entry unless we purchased and wore one of the masks they have for sale. Was interrupted in the middle of a phone call and told we were NOT ALLOWED to complain about their policy and if we didn't like it, we could leave and go elsewhere. We did just that and will NEVER shop at Menards again. We had masks in our pockets but left due to the rude, audacious way we were accosted and treated. Not only do they not carry simple parts to hook up dishwashers but the staff knows absolutely nothing about anything in the store. The corporation does nothing about these issues and anyone who actually knows what their doing get different jobs as soon as they can. After having to buy $50 in adapters just to make the part they carry 1/4" longer the ending part doesn't work because it's cut incorrectly with extreme ignorance. Their will never be a reason to help this company out. Unless they pay you to shop there. Products, staff, management, corporate are worthless to the customer. read more

We purchased a $4000 fridge from there. It took a few weeks for it to be delivered. A few days after installing it, we noticed that the freezer door was frozen and the freezer was freezing over. It was not usable. Also, the ice maker didn't work and there were numerous scratches and dents on it. I called Menards and they told me I had to call Whirlpool and go through the warranty. They basically said it wasn't their issue anymore. I called Whirlpool and they said the fridge had been delivered to Menards in 2019 and the warranty had expired. Luckily, we were able to prove date of purchase and the warranty has been reinstalled By Whirlpool. We have had to wait a few weeks to be able to get someone to service it though and have been without a freezer. Menards was not helpful throughout the process. They sold a broken fridge with no warranty and basically refused to take responsibilitY. The only response I got was that a $4000 fridge doesn't sell very often so it wasn't there fault the fridge had been there since 2019. The manager I talked to said the issues was going to be "escalated@ but I never heard back from them. When I called Menards to follow up, I was told I was going to be transferred to a manager but just got hung up on. I still can't believe that this company thinks it's ok to sell broken products! I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

As a former contractor I can easily say this is one, if not the most unprofessional places I've ever tried to do business with. From not being able to get any assistance with blinds, appliances and other purchases after several requests, to no willingness to get in additional stock (trim, moldings, lumber) for items they were out of to complete unwillingness to schedule deliveries around my schedule it seemed to never end. When there WAS someone to talk to they had limited to no knowledge and didn't make any effort to get me with someone that did. This would have been a 5 figure purchase (I'm finishing a 1700 sq. ft. basement) for their store, but evidently they don't need the business.....No problem, I'll find a business that will appreciate my purchase. read more

Worst experience EVER! Do not go here if you don't have to!!!! They loaded the wrong bathtub for me , I had to drive over 100 miles back to return it!!!! They did not care !!!!! Great place for most home improvements if you know what you need but when I asked for help on items, no one was around to help and then what I needed was hidden in a back dark corner. Yes this can be a one time issue or a select person but I walked from one end of store to the other and no one asked if I needed help and then when someone noticed I was looking for an item they continued on with some task in stead of usual "can I help you " even call someone else to help. i will never buy anything at the KEARNEY menards again. The sales people will tell you anything to get the sale but deliver little service or help after the sale. The store management doesn't seem to care if anyone comes back or not. Customers are an inconvenience to them. Then i went to Builders in Kearney and received excellent help from there friendly staff and bought great products at a better price. read more

Lady at front counter was rather rude ... Did not act like she wanted to help... Instead of saying hello she rather rudely asked "what do you need?" Not impressed by her customer service. All I wanted was my free gift. read more

The store itself is nice. Good pricing. Delivery Service of "Denny's Boom & Delivery" Not worth your money! Very RUDE. The female driver acts as though she is on drugs! I had to have my husband carry everything in because we wanted her to leave! Menards is good but they should fire their delivery service for someone more professional! read more

We always stop in whenever we are in town. They offer a wide selection and always have something new. The staff has always been friendly and the store clean. We will continue going back. read more
