We had a great time figuring out the clues to get us to the next location and it took me to some places I never would have tried. I liked that it was self-guided so we could spend as much time at any of the places and not feel rushed. I will definitely check them out again and think it would be even more fun in a city that I am not familiar with (and they have locations in Charlotte, Asheville, and Raleigh)!

Even if they don't have things going on, it is still a great place to sit back and relax in an Adirondack overlooking the water. There is a cute tire swing and plenty of grass area for kiddos to run around and play. I always enjoy getting a flight so I can enjoy several of their wines. I actually like their muscadine wines surprisingly. They also have the most amazing strawberry cake that is made with their wine! I go every year for my birthday to get a slice. In the summer, it is also nice to get a win slushy as well. The owners are always very friendly and their dogs will likely greet you as well. This is the second year in a row we done this and I think we might have to just make this a tradition. We had an incredible time. Bill our driver was so accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and safe. I called and spoke with him and he said not to worry about it because someone from his office would call the week of our scheduled date to discuss the details. Right after the call, I sent him a detailed text advising the hours I would need their service and received no response. The week of our service I received a call from someone in his office. I told her the times we needed the service and she said that was fine. At 3:30 pm the day before we scheduled his service I received a call from the owner during which he told me I would have to pay for an entire eight hours even though I did not need the service for that long and I had been trying to communicate this two and a half weeks prior. The owner argued and argued with me and kept me on the phone for an unnecessary amount of time. I would recommend you choose someone else for your transportation needs. I definitely will.

I hired this company to transport around 80 guests to a wedding. One of the busses that picked them…read moreup was late and we had to delay the start of the wedding as a result. Then, there were supposed to be two busses picking the wedding guests up at 10:00 p.m. - but when we got outside - there was only one bus there. About 30 guests had to sit in the parking lot at night (the wedding was at a remote site) for one and a half hours for the bus to return - very embarrassing for my family!!! And Barefoot Transportation only made excuses for it. Guess the contract terms and pick-up times are meaningless.
