And the biggest thing for me is that when she doesn't know something, she works to find out. She's not afraid to admit that she doesn't have all the answers, and she's up for a challenge. I have never had a doctor as good as Dr. Miller, and I highly recommend her. As far as the rest of the staff, they are also highly superior to any other doctor's office I have visited. The urologist I saw is a leader in her field, she teaches other physicians and also tours the country teaching. I was lucky to get her. Dr. Hehemann is her name. She has the best personality and sense of humor besides being the best at what she does. She also puts in time at the VA hospital. Being a Veteran myself I appreciate that. The whole UW Medical operation is top-shelf in my opinion and that includes Harborview as well. The entire staff at the Men's center is also top-shelf. Everyone seems concerned about the patients. My liaison for most things was Oliver. He's the scheduling coordinator and man is he good at his job. The nursing staff is also attentive and professional. I'm glad to be part of it. I was seen on time by a very professional technician who got all the preliminary things done quickly yet politely with great explanation of each thing required. My Physician Assistant was on time, listened to everything carefully and explained things clearly as well as completing a necessary exam. I was sent to the lab downstairs for specimens. That also went quickly and smoothly. The Phlebotomist (blood draw) was excellent in doing her job and being pleasant to boot. I am still in amazement at how well things went for such a large and busy clinic. There is parking under the building which is not free but sure is convenient and safe in the U District. There were plenty of open spaces. I would not hesitate to go to the UW Roosevelt Clinic again and easily recommend it. I was impressed.

Since I take personal responsibility for ensuring my appointments are accurate I've only had one or two miscues on scheduling over ten years; usually due to my error. In both instances Dr. Cavanaugh and his receptionist were very forgiving; and accommodating as much as possible in rescheduling. Now that the scheduling system is automated with an email reminder I haven't missed or mixed up an appointment date.

Not only did they fail to protect their patients' healthcare information, but they did not bother to recover it. Their only instincts were to cover their own @#$ and send patients a letter to be vigilant for identity theft ... because they certainly weren't! Dr. Martin Wall has progressively cared less over the years and frequently ran late. The last visit, I waited well over an hour. He told me right when he walked in he didn't have any time for me because his last patient ran long and his lunch was next. He probably spent 2 minutes with me and more or less told me to stick with the game plan and left. He did find the time to bill me though! I won't be back.

She also told me when I was in a lot pain that my pain level didn't align with my Stones location. Only to get into surgery to discover my large stone has dropped to my ureter since my last scan. At every turn she didn't listen to what I said was happening and discounted my feedback. I ended up in the hospital with an infection in my blood due to the tear she caused during surgery. I still have to see a urologist and nephrologist regularly and I always wonder if my kidney would have been able to heal had she not made so many mistakes.

Very very poor doctor. Told my mother she had cervical cancer without completing a biopsy or any…read morerelated tests simply because she had cervical cancer stage 1 24 years ago. Told her she had cancer before even meeting her and just reading her history. My mother is traumatized from this when all she came in for was a stent for a poorly draining kidney caused most likely by fibrosis from a surgery. On top of all this, she kept my mother waiting in the surgery room for more than one hour without so much as apologizing. Worst experience with a doctor of my life.
