It was unusual in that the building the hotel is in is split - half of it is a Tru by Hilton, half is a Home2 Suites hotel. The two hotels share the same check in desk and breakfast area and probably other common areas. Our room was good. We had 2 queen beds with a small table between them. The bathroom was good; I liked the lemon soap, but was a little disappointed there was only a shower stall, not a bath tub. The biggest issue I had with the room was that the corners of the mattresses are rounded but the bed frames they sit on are square, so they stick out a couple inches, which makes it easy to walk into them and hurt your shin if you're not careful. Other than that, I liked the place. The breakfast had lots of bacon and the potatoes were above average. I also got a special deal through the hotel that included 2 tickets to the Crayola Experience in Easton for an extra $30 or so (~$60 value). Overall I liked this place and would stay there again.

The room was comfortable and clean. The only maintenance blip was one of the curtain pull chains that got disconnected at the connector clip, which I was able to fix quickly. I am giving this a 4/5 mainly due to Hilton continuously and at this hotel not recognizing your Hilton status (e.g. benefits you select in their app) at check in.

Unfortunately, communication fell short during our stay. We were never informed at check in that housekeeping is only provided every other day. The following day, we got everyone ready to head to the pool, only to find out it was closed for maintenance. While the staff did offer access to the indoor pool at their sister hotel, it defeated the convenience of choosing a hotel with an on site pool, especially while traveling with toddlers and kids. Packing everyone up for a 29 drive back and forth was not ideal. When we returned to our room, we expected clean towels and made beds, not realizing housekeeping hadn't been scheduled. Walking into the room exactly as we left it was disappointing. When we requested fresh towels for our family of five, we were only given three, which added to the frustration.

Parking is always available so no issues there. We got a one bedroom suite and it was clean. The part I found annoying was the cleaning staff literally hanging out in the hallway right in front of our room door on a daily basis, being ridiculously loud for hours. Very frustrating when you're working and on calls. Aside from this, the stay for the week has been ok. I would potentially return if in the area, if they can provide a room with less noise lol.

I stayed here recently to go to Crayola Experience and had a great experience at this hotel…read more Check-in was a breeze and parking was plenty. Unfortunately, when I got to my room, I couldn't sleep on the sofa bed and went to the front desk to see if they had any other rooms. Christine was a life saver. She was so lovely, understanding and really tried her best to get me a bed. She ultimately was able to switch me to another room and that made the stay worth it. Breakfast had a good amount of seats considering the breakfast area was tiny. The food was constantly restocked and piping hot. The cinnamon buns were good and always a great option for my kids. Hot breakfast rotated between cheese or veggie omelets, bacon, sausage and biscuits. The orange juice was very diluted but there's milk, apple juice, another type of fruit juice and water. Coffee was constantly stocked and hot water was actually hot! We really enjoyed our breakfast here and the seating area was clean. The pool is a great feature of this hotel. It's a pretty large size compared to some hotels, and fairly clean. I love how bright it was and there is a bathroom inside opposite the entrance. They do need to stock more on towels. There were only five when we arrived. The pool has a window on the side where you can peep into the gym. It is small inside with one of each standard gym equipment. It does the job. Overall, great stay and kudos to Christine for saving my back.

I got my sister a room near me for after an event…read more My husband and I travel a lot and have used properties all over the US. We have had early check-ins and late check-outs almost every single time. The day before check-in, I called to request an early arrival. April, who was rude from the start, told me she couldn't do it. Then she said they charge a $75 fee for early arrivals. I explained being a Diamond Elite and it was included in the perks. She told me to call back day of to ask. Day of, I called at 930am. I was told that my room would be ready around 12pm. We showed up about 1230pm where April told us we would have to wait. We sat down for about 3-5 minutes, watching her play on her phone until she said it was ready. Got my sister's things in the room, then left for our event. We did not get back to the hotel until around 1am. The following morning, I called around 830am to request a late check-out around 1-2pm. April told me it was not possible. I mentioned the Diamond Elite again and she told me she would give me until 1130am. She was very rude about it, so I hung up and called the IHG Diamond Elite line. They put me on hold and called the hotel. They got back on with me and said as a one time courtesy, they would grant me a 1pm check-out. At 1128am, my sister is calling me, scared and in a panic. I could hear pounding and yelling in the background as she was telling me they were at her door telling her she needs to "get out now!" She was afraid to open the door, but she tried to explain to them that I spoke to corporate and she was allowed to be there until 1pm. That's when April yelled "Corporate doesn't have a say! This is my hotel and I make the rules. You need to leave NOW!" I told my sister to just keep the doors locked and I'd call the hotel. I told April I spoke to corporate and to please stop banging on my sister's door. She continued to yell at me until she finally said "fine you have until 1pm, but no later!" My sister left around 1230pm. She was so afraid of going through the lobby that she looked at the fire exit plan on her door to see how she could safely leave the building. She ended up going out the back door, carrying all her bags around the entire building to her vehicle out front. As she was leaving her room, there were 3 maid carts on her floor. So, it's not like they were waiting on just her room. I called and asked to speak to a manager about this horrendous situation. April told me the manager wouldn't be until after 1pm, so I asked to ve transferred to leave a message. As of 3pm, I did not hear anything back, so I called again. That's when April told me the manager just left 20 minutes ago, followed by "I know who this is and I don't know why you keep calling." I told her I knew who she was too and that she knew exactly why I was calling. She told me she had no idea what I was talking about. When I called out the way she treated my sister and banged on her door, her response was, "there's no proof of that so I don't know why you keep calling." I told her I'd be making another call to corporate, then hung up. As a long time, loyal Diamond Elite member, I am incredibly disappointed and disgusted with the actions of April. This is, by far, the WORST experience we have ever had at any IHG property, and that includes a time where my ceiling started leaking all over the kitchen floor. How this woman is still an employee is beyond me. I do know that we will NEVER be staying at that location again. We have a few other hotel brands that are closer to my home that we will use in the future. This hotel isabout 10 minutes away, and we chose it because we are loyal to IHG. There is a hotel less than a mile from our home that we will be using from now on. Even if I wasn't Diamond Elite status, that is NO WAY to treat or speak to ANY guest!! My sister should not have to be terrified the way she was, and I am so embarrassed that was her experience. All I have left to say is... stay at your own risk. If April is that bad, I'm not sure I want to know what any of the other employees are like.

Check-in went well enough, the person who checked us in was functional. Not rude but not really pleasant either. The downstairs common area is beautiful and the room itself was quaint and cute! Everything was also clean and kept. There was a small annoyance however. In our particular room there was an air conditioner right at the ceiling above the bed which had a very bright blue light. There was no way to turn it off unless you turned the AC off, so if you're anything like me and need it to be dark, bring a mask or something. My husband even said "I feel like we're on the moon..."

They would even create custom drinks for you if you gave them a few flavors and a liquor to work with. I hadn't had that experience in YEARS! Honestly, some of the best cocktail bars in my area have some pretty basic drinks and the bartenders aren't even close to as knowledgeable as these ones here are. The decor was very cool and interesting. It had classy vibes but on a budget which is exactly the types of places I enjoy going for drinks. 4 of us hung out there and had 2 rounds each and I was floored with how reasonable the pricing was! I almost didn't want to write this review so that no one else would go and I could keep this little gem of a bar to myself! I highly recommend going and checking this place out after dinner to finish off your evening. I know I will most definitely be returning soon!
