MAIN BANQUET HALL RENTAL REVIEW…read more Pros: - room was spacious and clean. - rental came with 20 round tables and 10 rectangle tables that fit 10 chairs each and also included 200 chairs - they have a stage - they have a kitchen you can also rent for $67 extra but it comes with a huge fridge freezer and hotel size ice machine - semi-private playground is attached in the back which is hardly used by the public - plenty of parking but if the community center has classes going on those spaces will have to be shared so this can be a negative - restrooms are very clean Cons: - no mic system no speakers we brought our own - kitchen doesn't include their stove - you have to pay for a staff member to be there for your entire event time ($23/hr I think) - no alcohol allowed unless you hire and pay for security guards We booked the big banquet room on a Saturday for our son's birthday party and had a wonderful time. The security guard and most of the staff are nice. I had an issue with one of the worker (Jessica?) being rude to me over the phone. Basically I called and got permission from their office that I could store some drinks/food in the fridge the night before my party. But they didn't tell me their staff also used the same fridge and I guess someone almost ate our cupcakes. Not a big deal but Jessica called me and accused me of breaking their rules and tried to go off on me stating I would have to pay for another day or something crazy like that. Very unprofessional. Obviously whoever told me yes (guy who had a very sweet personality) lied to her and told her he never did such a thing Long story short- write your name on all your stuff in the fridge!!! They have a smaller room (130-140 people) to rent up at the playground level which was also a great option and a lot cheaper. There they offer an attached patio and kitchen as well with the room and have close access to the water park and playground. Also a great choice.

Plenty of people in the line, but staff was friendly, met the mayor who was so gracious, and the building itself was easy to navigate. Its great to see the city hosting wonderful events like this. I have noticed an influx in parking tickets in the area. Specifically on our side of the town, the parking enforcement officer goes ahead of the street sweeper and cites people like crazy. The previous officer was less vigilante about it as he would drive behind the street sweeper, which at times allowed for someone to race out in the event they forgot to move car. He seemed to have more empathy for the working families in the city. New parking enforcement officers seems to have a quota he needs to meet. Had a neighbor cited for expired tags, even tho vehicle was inside their property, which I learned ticket person could not do! Another neighbor for being too far away on the curb. Be aware of the guy.

I'm not the only person who feels the same. I know politics plays a big role in filling open positions but we can DO BETTER by stepping away from that classic stereotype that all City & County workers are A-holes; especially office positions that have to engage with the public face to face or over the phone. They are the face and the first person in contact.. they are making you look really bad. Hire someone competent and people oriented.

Per Google, it is almost entirely industrial (about 92%) and commercial (about 8%) with only a few hundred residents making it the third least populous city in the State of California. Hence, the city was named as such. When I was driving through the city, I noticed a lot of commercial buildings and not much residence homes. There were local businesses at various blocks. From the top of the hill, its surrounding area was quite lush and the view was nice. After researching a little bit more about the city, it is about 20-30+ mins to Downtown LA, Dodgers Stadium, Disneyland, Rose Bowl and 40+ mins to Orange County area and 50+ mins to LA county beaches and 1+ hours to Palm Springs. City is quite centralized if you ask me. I learned something new about the City of Industry. Thank you! FYI City of Industry will host the mountain bike competition at the 2028 Summer Olympics, with the competition taking place adjacent to the Pacific Palms Resort. Come check them out!

I called the Industry station about alarm permits to find out how to file for an alarm permit in Hacienda Heights. I still need to double check that I don't need an alarm permit since my alarm company said that I do in their initial e-mail to me. If that's the case, I'll update the review and let you guys know. The dispatch or station clerk who picked up was courteous. I thought they might be impatient as I was asking questions since today is July 4th, but the guy was very helpful.
