While passing through we decided to stay at the Navy Gateway Inn (it's old barracks converted) rather Navy Lodge based on the reviews. It's easy getting here just passed the main gate to first crosswalk and it's on left, first building. Has plenty of parking and for those pulling a cargo/utility trailer etc.
The main lobby area is nice and updated, check-in was quick and lady was extremely friendly. It has elevators as well, vending area and patio area outside in between the buildings and apparently a Samual Adams pub, hot continental breakfast in the mornings...Sundays Grab & Go, fruits, Jimmy Dean egg & sausage biscuits or ham and drinks. The beds are comfy, pillows fluffy, has dresser, tv with lots of channels, desk w/chair, shower was clean and water stayed hot, towels are thick. The AC unit could use some cleaning as it was loud kicking on but overall a pleasant stay read more
