We selected this hotel first and foremost because they had space in their parking lot for our truck and RV. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The Internet was not very good, but the bed was extremely comfortable, the room was clean, and the linens and towels were new and decent quality. The morning staff was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast offerings were plentiful. The night person on the front desk was not very warm or welcoming, but she did her job efficiently. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

The breakfast buffet staff were outstanding and very attentive. Found an expired yogurt in the fridge and staff immediately replaced it and checked the fridge for any others. Pool was nice. Very warm like bath water. Patio to sit outside. Low on towels. Paid 200 a night which was supposed to be the group rate. Not happy overall and would probably not stay again. With all the problems 3 families had, I would expect a rate reduction. Many more problems than I've ever had at a Holiday inn express. Probably won't be back to this location in Dyersburg.

I explained that we specifically needed the double queen room and was told there had been an "incident" and there was no choice. When we arrived about 5 minutes later, we were then told we had to wait another 30 minutes because the room needed to be cleaned--even though it was already 9 PM and we were exhausted. What made the experience worse was the lack of communication. Staff would not explain what the incident was, leaving us uncomfortable accepting the room without knowing was it a death, illness, bedbugs or something else. Unexpected situations happen, but clearer communication & better handling would have helped. I wouldn't expect to arrive after a long day of travel and be left confused about whether the room I reserved was actually available.
