I went a couple of times over 3 weeks and the staff was kind, the laundromat was clean, the machines are in good shape. The dryers are especially powerful. The machines operate via quarters only. So bring your change or dollars as they have machines to get quarters. There's a couple of chairs in case you need to sit, parking in the front and back of the shopping center, and fans for ventilation. They also have additional services - to drop off your clothes/ items to be washed and dried and dry cleaning as well.

The place is relatively clean, with plenty of washers and dryers and tables to fold / organize clean laundry. The shift manager was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and kind to us. She provided key guidance on how to select a washer (small, medium, large) based on our load, how to purchase and fill a laundry card, and approximate drying time and capacity of the dryers. Sobe Suds is well-maintained and well-managed. They also sell high-quality, large capacity fabric laundry bags for $8. Highly recommend!

The location is small and usually very busy, making it usually crowded. You will constantly be getting in someone's way here and vice versa. But the location is clean, it's the closest laundromat to North Bay Village, and I can get in and out in less than an hour, so the Laundry Basket will be my go-to spot whenever my apartment building's washer stops working.

The facility is well kept. I like the small cozy feel. $3.00 for a regular load. Wash times vary; delicate wash 23-25 minutes, warm & hot washes 29 minutes. That's good value I find. Overall worth a 5 star.

I happened to be having a beach day when we had one of our regular rain storms. This one had extra lightening so we were really forced off the beach. I went hunting for food. Just so happened I spotted the laundry mat after parking and placing my beach bag in my trunk. The place was super packed even for a weekday. And the AC was blowing hella strong. The ac would be great on a normal day. But walking in with sand on my feet and wet I was a little less welcoming to the chill. Even with a packed house there was no wait on machines. There was a wait to get bills for the machine, wait for detergent, and wait for getting this huge key for the bathroom. The bathroom was surprisingly not scary. TV play above along with music but it still didn't feel loud? With my one load in I'm able to do a frogger across the street and check out a decent breakfast spot. Dryers sucked! But while I feed all my coin into the dryers someone lost their phone. Of course they claimed it was stolen. Employees searched all over. Search everything, talked with other patrons about the phone and repeatedly told customer to double check there items. After maybe 20 minutes the man was livid! But he still needed to call someone to pick him up. Employee let him use her phone to do the search. Maybe 20 minutes later (yeah I was still drying my one load of clothes) the man calls back to say that he found his phone between his folded laundry. The dryers suck but the service was 4 stars.

It has been two weeks, and the strong chemical smell inside my wardrobe has still not disappeared. Despite leaving both the room and the closet doors open for days, the odor remains overwhelming. I cannot wear these clothes or allow them to touch my skin in this condition. Today, I will have to wash everything in my closet, including the items I already paid to have dry cleaned, and take them elsewhere. It is frustrating to pay twice and lose additional time dealing with something that should have been handled properly in the first place. We all need to be more mindful of where we spend our money and whether we truly receive proper service in return. Unfortunately, the level of service in this country has become deeply disappointing.

-Unreliable -Unpleasant customer service…read more-Low quality work -The owner's responses to the Yelp reviews are very off putting. I've used this place for alterations maybe 2-3 times. Even after reading some reviews, I gave this place a chance. I have gotten jeans taken in and one dress taken in at the armpit area. They do a decent job. The prices are about $25-$30 for a job, doesn't matter the item. The last time picking up an item I had taken in, will be the last time I go here. It was a brand new skirt, never worn. And when I picked it up after having it taken in it had a large stain on the front plus two smaller spots of dirt and liquid. The item was also extremely wrinkled so it didn't seem to have been steamed or ironed. If they looked at the care tag they would see no iron should be used on this type of fabric. I politely showed the woman the stains and asked if I could have half refund back. She said no, it didn't happen here, we only tailored the item. I said, this was brand new and never worn, with no stains when I dropped it off. I showed her three stains. It is unwearable now. She shrugged and continued to say no. I asked again "please could you refund me for half" She told me that the manager wasn't here. I asked for the managers name and number and she did not know the name, and gave me the number of the place. I told her that everytime I have called or stepped inside i have only seen or spoken to her. Finally I left my phone number with her to have the manager call me. Hopefully they make it right. Update: I have been trying to speak with a manger and have gotten no response for two weeks now.
