They were, and still are, very respectful of my concerns and sensitivities. From the first two or three visits, they remembered my needs without me having to remind them. Only once have I ever had a small issue with their work (filling was not perfect, caused painful bite) and they were very responsive to that. When my insurance provider changed, I was very worried when I learned they didn't take my new insurance. I hesitantly asked what my out-of-pocket cost would be without any insurance. It was VERY reasonable, and for context, I'm definitely on the lower end of the earning spectrum. It's been a few years now and even when I need fillings and x-rays, the cost is very affordable. Park Lake Dental is very convenient in that they are just a few minutes from my house. That said, they are so excellent I would gladly travel 30-45 minutes just to know that I will receive the absolute best care. Today I brought my 3 and a half year old daughter for her first ever dentist visit. They couldn't have been more encouraging and supportive. They offered her surprise toys and stickers for doing well, they were enthusiastic and very friendly with her, and even had a supportive friend she got to interact with which made her day. My daughter has been so excited all day and has been telling everyone her friends at the dentist were so nice to her. TL;DR: I can't imagine ever changing providers. I don't think anyone else would give as thorough, cost-effective, and empathetic care. I highly suggest Park Lake Dental for anyone who either does not have or isn't happy with their current dental provider.

After my deep cleaning the doctor just got up walked away and said I can leave, I literally stood up and looked around because I had blood coming out of my gums still and I felt blood in my face rolling down. I asked one of her dental assistants if I could get a gauge or something to help me with cleaning up the bleeding and all she said was go to the bathroom. I went to the bathroom and as I was cleaning myself up i thought about how unsanitary this is, I literally washed my blood away in their bathroom sink that patients use. I grabbed a regular paper towel to help with my bleeding gums and left. I'm pregnant so I didn't want to cry and cause a scene but I've never in my life experienced such neglect. Unfortunately I have to go back the next day due to my deep cleaning being done half one side half another and I really wish I was able to cancel BUT per their "policy" if I don't show up I will be charged. FYI my front gum still bleeds hours after I left.

But the credit should be mostly to Dr.Mao. At first we tried to make an appointment with Dr.Ta because of the review, but I wasn't able to, so the staff assigned us this young doctor Dr.Mao, but out of expectation, he is very caring, explains thing in details before every single step, very gentle when doing any procedures, extremely patience with elderly. Not only Dr.Mao, but also another Korean doctor who performed the procedure too. Both of them tried everything to fix the dental problems, very patiently. From this positive experience, I made myself an appointment for the very first time too. Due to the previous treatments in other dental office, I continuously having toothache every day, Dr.Mao could immediately stated the problems from just examining and some closer look at the X-ray. He adjusted something out I literally felt better, he said if it's not getting better, he will advise me something else. I like that he wasn't rushing customers to extract the tooth, do root canal, put a crown bla bla bla etc... He gave some genuine advices on how to keep enamel better or so, which other dental office would just suggest you to pay for some fluoride or dental cleaning treatment. He tried everything to fix your problems in the simplest way first before further needs in worst case scenarios! Dental office visiting is always scary, but if you guys want a gentle, friendly environment with good doctor and staff, "925 Dental" is the place!!! Welcoming, professional and compassionate at every encounter. A day before my appointment I was emailed a Covid questionnaire, and my temperature was taken upon arrival. Staff wearing masks and face shields. A very efficiency run practice. Crystal who answered the phone also did my x-rays, the doctor also took photos of my teeth, did a full examination, went over my hot spots with suggestions and treatment plans, and he did my cleaning. The dental assistant was in there assisting with water and suction while the doctor used the ultrasound to clean, picks for under the gums and polished. Quick, painless (always checked to see if I was comfortable and could raise my hand to indicate sensitivity) and professional. Dr. Tsang and I had a frank discussion about my gums and overall teeth health and I left with a plan, follow up visit and equipment to better care for my oral health. Your parting gift bag does not include a .50 generic toothbrush and floss, but a spin brush for better gum health, floss and toothpaste. He also suggested using an air floss which I purchased from him for less than Target prices (I checked). Dr. Tsang and his office are true professionals who care for your health and treat you as a person and not a wallet. My bad I didn't ask enough on my first two visits but the concerns have been resolved in today's visit. Receptionists and dental assistants are still very nice, helpful & thoughtful. Dr. Tsang tried his very best and did a great job on fixing the diastema and reshape without numbing. This time I asked lot of questions, make sure there was no miscommunication and on the same page before the fixing processes.
