Great food especially for pool food. We ordered the nachos (4/5), chicken tenders (5/5) and Cancun chicken salad (3.5/5). Service is hit or miss. We had amazing service one day but the second day we had the worst service. Would like to add that they charge a 20% service charge whether the service is great or not. Don't get me wrong. The drinks were nice and the servers were friendly. We got two drinks and were charged a 20% service fee. I'm all for tipping for good service but I like it to be my choice. It tells me the greedy hotel owners don't want to pay their servers salaries and would rather force that cost onto their guests. I don't recommend supporting this place. read more

Salads were great here. Service was excellent and beer was cold. It's a poolside restaurant done right. Jalapeño vinaigrette was really good. Tacos were great. Fish was not overdone but it was a lot of food. Tacos Would be good to share and salads are huge so consider sharing. Enjoy! read more

Day 1 of our Miami trip. Stayed at the nice Loews hotel and ate at the pool side bar/restaurant. I ordered the wings, mild. The wings were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the greek salad with chicken. As per her she said the salad was very good and the chicken was cooked to her liking. The waitstaff moved a little slow for our liking. But ill attribute that to us being from new york and everything seems to move a little faster there. Food is a little over priced. But is to be expected when you are eating at a poolside bar/restaurant. All in all pleasant experience. read more

While in Miami, I stayed at Loews Hotel. Nautilus is the bar and grill by the pool. The food is delicious, and the drinks are amazing. If we were not eating at the bar, we were ordering drinks by the pool. I had a couple items off the menu, but I only took one picture of the Islamorada Fish Tacos. It was grilled mahi-mahi. It came with a spicy chipotle dip and cilantro tomatillo. The spicy chipotle sauce was good I did dip my tacos in it and my tortilla chips. The Nautilus Nachos were good, all three of us shared one order. My friend ordered the chocolate cake, and it was to die for. She literally ordered the chocolate cake every day that we were there. The drinks were strong too. I tried the Cool Rum Runner and Miami Express, if you like frozen rum drinks, I recommend both. The bartenders were extremely nice. I like how all the chairs around the pool have QR codes attached to them with the menu and you can order, and the servers will bring the food right out to you. read more

During a staycation at the Loews Miami Beach stopped by Nautilus Bar on Sunday during pool time. I ordered a Miami Beach Frozen Mule and a Frozen Pink Lemonade. Quality So we had been forewarned the Miami Beach Frozen Mule would not be frozen, but that was perfectly fine with me. The drink was basically a Moscow mule with some mint added in. It was flavorful and refreshing for a hot day at the beach. The Frozen Pink Lemonade was less satisfying. It was just too much ice that even with the heat did not melt at an appropriate pace. It was also way too sweet, even for a frozen drink. Quantity The drinks came in three different sizes, with the medium size being the most appropriate to be filling and refreshing. The large one also seemed unrealistically large, at least for mixed drinks. Value Expensive to say the least. The regular sized drinks seem reasonable for where you are and what it is, but then they come out and you realize they are too small. Then the larger sizes make it seem way overpriced. Ambiance Nautilus Bar is adjacent to the pool at the Loews Miami Beach. It is a small square bar that has a small amount of seating. The bar has four televisions so you can watch the game while sitting outside. Unfortunately the bar does not give you a view of the beach or ocean because of the greenery and fence in the way. However, it is overlooking the pool area and it is pretty close to where the small band sets up. The bar has a food menu and does transport drinks all over the pool area, but it is a nice shady spot with some fans to get a break from the heat. Crowd Nautilus Bar has a constant rotation of guests, mostly of repeat visitors. It would appear entirely or almost entirely Loews guests, since I don't really know why else you would stop by. No one stays for long, but there really is no need to. Service The bartenders seemed nice and they were pretty generous with pours. Parking If you are going to park at the Loews you are going to have to valet park. There are lots and decks a few blocks away if you are willing to walk. In the end I would recommend using Uber or Lyft if you are heading to the area. Extra The bar was small and nothing special. It was unfortunate that you can't see the beach or ocean because that would definitely improve the quality. The drinks are pricey as is to be expected, but they are smaller than you would hope. In the end its better to stick with the beach chair and get the drink delivered and if you need to see the game head inside. read more

Holy Mango Mojito! I'm not a fan of mojitos by any mean, but man oh man were the mango mojitos here AWESOME! Strong and delicious, one- yes ONE had me with a good buzz going. Those that know me well know that this is quite the feat. During happy hour the mojitos are $8 each...for South Beach and for a big name hotel....this is a great price. Regularly they are $16 each. I believe happy hour is from 4-8. or 7. Not sure. The server told me the times when I was already done with my mojito so....... My brother and his wife also had a good buzz going off their one mango mojito so we decided to order the fried calamari dish to help soothe the buzz. The food came out quickly and the portion was just the perfect size to share between 2 or 3 people. The calamari were perfectly (read: lightly) battered and the marinara sauce was also very good. Conveniently located next to the swimming pool. Had lunch here one day after hitting the beach. I know this is Miami Beach and everyone is chilling and taking it easy. But our waitress kept getting things wrong. We were shot 3 sets of utensils and a cup of water. She brought us a plate and 2 sets of utensils. Another time we asked for water and she completely forgot. When she did come back she was so surprised and said "you don't have water yet!?" It was her job to bring the water, no? The food was great too, i expected smaller portions but we had fairly large dishes that could be shared between 2 people. One day I ordered the chicken tenders with french fries and my boyfriend had the fish and chips. Our food came out so fast and we stuffed our faces while enjoying the sun. The next day we ordered a shrimp salad and the buffalo wings and oh boy did we once again underestimate the size of portions. I think it took us like 2 hours to finish our food.
