I have a 2023 NauticStar 2302 Legacy boat. While out fishing yesterday I had about 6" of water in the live well with eels in it. When we got to our spot to start fishing I looked back to see the live well had broke free from its molded / fiberglassed area and the tub just sitting in the area where it belongs but broke free. I called the manufacturer of the boat and they said that they will not help me because it's not under warranty and I said this is a defect not a warranty issue. Companies customer service is a joke , feel like after the purchase your on your own they do not even attempt to understand your concern about a defect or poor workmanship Multiple issues i was able to address myself from loose and missing screws to caukl helm station to stop a leak. Problem on transom discovered after pulling boat for the season in NY , 2 months past warranty 60 hours on boat flat out no your past warranty. $125k before taxes . I'm not sure if it's the boat or the dealer. Trim tab plates both broke off at the weld and caused the actuators to break (There is no pitting on the trim and trill zinks. That shows there are no corrosion or electrolysis issues in that area) The cause of the issue was poor welding. There is no pitting on the trim and trill zinks. Windless failed, when I had a tech look at it there were multiple loose connections at the relay The throttles aren't in sync and no longer maintain their position without being held. This is an issue we had since day 1 and was not fixed the first time the boat went in for service. Anchor light wasn't mounted correctly and fell off (holding on by wires now). Wasn't fixed last time the boat was in the shop and was requested. Rear starb cooler latch fell off Salt water pump had to be replaced (seacock valve was closed not allowing water to the pump after replacement) Lock for the head doesn't work properly No keys for T top hatch Random screws keep appearing. I get it is a boat, but where do these screws go? They look like other screws on the boat too. Center console screws near the floor became unscrewed and I noticed and was able to retighten them after the boat was in the shop for the new pump The dealer also told us that the boat is in the water too long which may be the cause of these problems. The longest period the boat may remain in the water is a week. The boat doesn't sit at the dock and gets used most days, if not everyday. We even go out at night. read more

I have owned 4 Nauticstars. A 1910, 227xts, 244xts and now since November a 215xts. The 1910 was not for me but I liked all the rest and found their value and performance quite good in my opinion. The only issue I have had has been with the accuracy of their fuel gages. Other than that I have been pleased with the boats overall. read more

Happy with the purchase . I have a few spider cracks in the gel coat but other than that this is a great boat and priced fairly well .

I bought a Nautic Star boat (Nautic Star Boats - DC 210) from a dealer here in California that went out of business a few weeks after my purchase; of course I didnt know this until a few months later when my registration never came in the mail and I called the dealer to follow up. My boat was never registered and the dealer never turned in the taxes and fees. Ive contacted NauticStar several times a year since and have yet to receive any help. So here I am 6 years later with a 45K boat that I cannot use or sell. All I need is a manufacturers certificate of origin and the guys at Nautic Star just wont help me. I would highly advise against purchasing nautic star boats as they dont back up their dealers (or boat buyers for that matter) and you could end up in the same situation Im in... $45,000 boat with almost zero hours onit because you cannot use it legally. This is my first NautiStar boat and the reason I am giving it 4 stars is because since our purchase we have only had it in the water 4 times. During those time, I have noticed the boat to be smoother in choppy water than my previous boats. The craftsmanship does appear to be high quality. read more

Love the boat, love the ride, the only complaint is that my front livewell went out before I got to use it. Because of all the back up, I have a 2 month wait before the repair shop can do the warranty work. read more

Purchased a 223 DC with 150 HP Yamaha. The layout is excellent for family outings and find the 150hp has plenty of power when loaded with five adults and two dogs. Front bow has good platform for fishing but no fishing rod holders. A few minor issues that need to be fixed under warranty. read more

If i could give a lower rating I too would.I am having trouble with water in the hull. I am not a Boat mechanic nor do I want to be.I thought I could resolve the problem by consulting an owners manual but I am astonished to find that NS does not publish any.When I buy a power tool from harbor freight for say 25 bucks I get an owners manual. I am about an hours drive from the dealer.This in my opinion is incredible!!!!! read more

I wish I could give a lower score than a 1 star. I purchased a Nauticstar boat from a dealer about 4 hours from where I live because I got a really good deal on a new boat it was an older model (2017). The local dealer said they would refuse to work on my boat since I decided to purchase from another dealer instead of them. I called Nauticstar to let them know how one of their representatives was treating their customer. The local dealer was bitter that I purchased a boat somewhere else for much less than what they could sell their boat for. The guy I spoke to said the local dealers get to make their own decisions and said he may be able to call in a favor if I needed work done to my boat. I was not pleased with that answer since the boat is brand new. I asked him if he was ok with one of their customers being treated this way? He said he would have a manager call me to discuss further. It has been 2 weeks and I have not heard a thing. I do not recommend anyone purchase a Nauticstar boat. It has been 3 weeks since this purchase and I already regret it!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM NAUTICSTAR!!!!! read more
