My review is based on my experience. I was looking for a specific type and size of nursing pot. I…read morefound it one ACE website and it is in a stock at this location. I drove there in the morning and arrived at this store on the time that they supposed to open but they were late. Then I asked about the stuff I want, and they show me. I grabbed it and paid then left the store. The price for the pot is a bit higher than regular pot but I just need small amount for my project so I'm ok.

I was just in here to purchase some soap. (3PM - Nov 13)…read more Stood in line, and the person in front of me was returning a fly zapper. The customer placed their card by the reader, to receive the refund (as is usual for most places) but the guy behind the counter smacked his hand away and told him that he said not to put his card there. I could tell it took the customer aback. As soon as the customer left, the man behind the counter called him a "stupid animal." I confronted him, asking him why he feels it's alright to put his hands on someone, and his justification is that he told the customer to not put his card by the reader. He then said that he should've punched him instead. I asked him again, why he thought it was okay to put his hands on someone, and he repeated the same thing, but this time included that he should punch ME in the head. Absolutely ridiculous behavior. I won't be returning here, and I suggest you don't either. Man behind the counter was an old short guy with a beat up newsboy cap, chains and a big silver cross around his neck. Stay away from him if you aren't white.

House & Home basically has all the hardware or cooking supplies that you would need to setup shop…read morewhen you move into the area (It's Brooklyn, Duh...) or need to update some gadgets of your home. Although when you enter it might look a bit cluttered up and over crowded, don't get just turned off and walk out, they actually have a very decent verity of all types of home hardware, say like pots & pans, cutlery, organizing containers, towel hooks and even alarm clocks.... (People still buy them?! It's like buying a flash light when you have one on your phone...) Customer service is also very friendly and nice and always more then willing to help you find whatever you're looking for and give you the perfect recommendation of the product which will meet your needs. Price is also okay although not the cheapest, but hey, when you have a big nice place with great customer service you can't expect them to charge you a bodega price for a pot. Speaking of Pot's I was once on the road out in the wild and needed urgently a pot for some cooking, so I stopped into a small bodega (don't ask me what I was thinking and I ask the cashier if he by any chance has a pot so he says "umm Pot"? sure, go right to the back of the store, It took me a minute to realize that he was talking about "POT" and I quickly made a U turn and ran outta there laughing my head off....... One more thing that they offer is a Mikvah* on the spot that you need for some dishes when you buy them. In overall this please is great and therefore my go to place whenever I need nay home supplies. ---------------------------------------------------- *Mikvah, for those of you that are not familiar with it, it is a religious ritual that you need to submerge any dish that you intend of using multiple times into a tub of water that contains a certain amount of pure rain water, and after submerging it into the Mikvah you're able to use the dish for as many times as you wish. (Disposable stuff don't require a Mikvah)
