There's new vendors that weren't here a couple weeks ago, and they're still mixing things up a bit, but so far the veggies, fruit, and bread I've gotten here so far have all been excellent. There's about a dozen local craft artisans as well. I go for food, but that's just me :) Everybody is super nice, and plenty of parking. An easy choice. Go support these folks and help this little market grow and stay in your community!

The food is amazing, the coffee is on point, and the flowers are absolutely beautiful. Every time I go, it feels like there's something new to discover. It really seems like the market is growing all the time, with new vendors popping up weekly, which keeps it exciting and fresh One of the standout things for me is the pastries... they are to die for Seriously, if you go, do yourself a favor and grab some. Everything feels fresh, handmade, and worth indulging in. Between the baked goods, local food, and quality coffee, it's easy to make a whole experience out of it. What I really love is the overall vibe. It has that perfect mix of community, charm, and relaxed coastal energy that makes Dana Point special You can walk around with a coffee in hand, check out the vendors, grab amazing food, pick up fresh flowers, and just enjoy the whole atmosphere. Vibe is very relaxed and mellow. Great variety of small producers making different tasty foods, from chocolate covered figs to tamales, to flavored salts, to hummus and other dips, gourmet French products (you can find Bourdier butter here, if you know what I'm talking about!), to delicious sourdough. I thought it was a little disappointing there weren't more members from the community out here supporting the producers, it was really quiet and everyone was eager to have you sample their stuff and chat you up. It's not cheap but this is Dana Point. But it's great if you're looking for some really tasty foods, this is an event worth supporting, and coming back to again, and again, and again...

Away we bought delicious apples and olives Almond butter we tasted was good too! But we need to finish what we have first. But let me say The coconut Almond butter was delicious She gave us samples I will come back for this for sure. There was a vendor selling Cimichurri that was good we bought 2 jars 1 for and my niece bought one also We enjoy the lady who sells Tamales she was so sweet and told us how she doesn't use lard But the masa was so soft and white She gave me her secret on her masa On the smoothness I really enjoyed the Chicken w/ green chili And also had chili relleno tamal Very good too That a 5 for me In flavor and masa They are pricey but good You get 3 in pack. But the variety is a lot She have only ran out of one kind But she had savory to sweet. We always select the latter. Price is reasonable for fresh made food. Then the Super Nitro Cold Brew Coffee...omg! I tried it last Sunday, and it was amazing! Light, slightly sweet, creamy, luscious coffee. I can't wait for my next dose! Vendors are super friendly, people are chill. We had a great time. There is so much to eat and buy.

It was a horrible experience and I will never, ever be back. The grating mariachi music was so loud that I could hardly hear myself think. Worse yet, every vendor there had their own boombox going, so it was a profoundly unpleasant cacophony of competing trumpets, accordions, and incomprehensible lyrics. The prices were out of control. $12-13 for a dozen eggs. $18/pound for stew beef. FOR STEW BEEF. there were tons of duplicate vendors offering the exact same produce; nothing stood out except for the high prices. The gentleman from MJ Family Farms was quite nice, introduced himself and shook my hand. I appreciate that old-school American way of doing business. Sadly, he is the only vendor there who appeared to care about making a sale. (Simply because of his kind demeanor did I spend $18 for 1 pound of stew beef. Everyone else seemed too busy chatting amongst themselves/other vendors/employees.)

We started the morning at their fresh juice window, and let me tell you: the beet-watermelon juice was incredible. Bright, refreshing, and served in reusable jars, which I absolutely loved. Sustainability isn't just a concept here; you see it in every detail. Next, we had a meditation session inside the dome, which was such a peaceful and centering moment. After that, we walked through the orchards, wandered the land, and just took in the beauty of everything this place cultivates. Lunch was where The Ecology Center truly shined. I'm a person from San Francisco, and I do not say this lightly: this was some of the best sourdough I've ever had. Perfectly chewy, soft, flavorful -- absolutely the real deal. They served it as avocado toast and also topped with fresh eggs, and both versions were phenomenal. The entire farm-to-table menu was next-level. The salads were crisp and thoughtful, every ingredient tasted like it had been picked that morning, and the flavors were paired with such care. The sourdough tarts we had for dessert were out of this world -- bright, tangy, and beautifully balanced. We even got to meet the chef, who was warm, talented, and clearly passionate about what she creates. You can taste that love in every bite. This was an epic meal and an unforgettable experience. The energy is spectacular. they have Friday night farm-to-table dinners, outdoor performances and live music, yoga and meditation in the dome, a market with all their produce and made on-site hot sauces and fermented items, and the star of the show: a regenerative organic farm (the only one in SoCal, might I add!) I came here for the strawberry picking experience and loved every second of it. Two minutes in, I was having so much fun! This space draws me close to what I want to be doing in this life. I'll absolutely be volunteering here and seeing what else will be added to such a beautiful place! I highly recommend the Ecology Center.

Very fun place for berry picking you pay about six dollars for a carton and then you're free to…read morepick berries or eat them from the bush. The main attraction are blueberries and mulberries and you could find blackberries raspberries tangerines avocados also. There's a small parking lot at the end of the driveway, but it was full so we parked down the hill and walked about five minutes. There was a line to pay and we got four cartons and we filled two with blueberries and two with mulberries. The mulberries are in the front on a slope and the low hanging fruit gets taken first, so I had to reach further up and pull branches down to get my share. My wife filled two cartons with blueberries. All the fruit was very good and delicious. There were lots of people there having a good time I think we'll be back soon later in the season.

I recently visited the picturesque Farmakis Farm for the first time for a private event. I always…read morenoticed the cute little farm by the 5 fwy, right in the beautiful city of SJC, and it was great to finally go! The farm has the most adorable animals, including goats, chickens, a cute pig named Penelope, and a 7 month old donkey named Hazel, whose little 'hee haws' were a highlight of my visit. It was such a pleasure to chat with the owner and learn about all the different activities they host, such as line dancing, a farmers market, and arts & craft events. I will definitely be returning for another event. Thank you, Farmakis Farm, for a truly memorable visit!

I would say the only caveat is the parking there is a lot of street parking but if you don't get there super early, you will have to park away. We recommend either taking a wagon or your own shopping canvas bags. I always carry mine. They've got some of the best olive oil oils the best baked goods produce beyond compare such great produce really I just love it. It's a smaller type farmers market, but they have everything that you need. I found some of the yummiest granola's and of course West Coast olive oil is one of my favorites. They even have a homemade doggy treat person that makes yummy products for your pet I also love to hang fresh eucalyptus leaves in my shower and they have some of the fresh eucalyptus bunches. And of course, delicious mango honey.
