Our family has lived in our current home in Coral Gables for several years now. We underwent an expansive backyard renovation in 2014 to include extending our pool to include a tanning ledge, a built-in hot tub, a new patio deck and a masonry wall for privacy around the corner perimeter. We also had a dedicated grassy area for the kids to play but our yard still did not feel like it had that Wow factor. The grassy area has always suffered due to the shade from the trees and had significantly deteriorated in the last six months due in part to the addition of two new puppies who loved to dig up the area and leave muddy paw prints all over our pool deck. Needless to say, we were desperate for a solution. We reached out to neighbors and friends for recommendations and Nature's Dream Landscape came highly recommended. Victoria and her husband, Ray, met with us promptly and went over our concerns. Within a week, Victoria provided a well-thought-out plan for our property presented on an idea board with specific plant and shrub suggestions (including labeled pictures of each) and also suggested synthetic turf to replace the dying grass. It was something my husband and I had contemplated but were not sure about due to our limited exposure to this material. After gathering a couple of additional bids for the project, we realized how uninspired the other two plans were and more costly than everything Nature's Dream Landscape would be including for us. Victoria was so happy when I reached back out to her not only because she was glad to get our business but also because she truly wanted to make her beautiful vision a reality. Once we had worked out the details of what the project would include, Victoria was in constant communication with me. Since my knowledge of plants is limited, she drove me around the neighborhood to show me the actual plants she was suggesting to see what I liked and didn't like. She also provided samples of various plants and sent pictures. It was important to lock down the selections because her crew arrived on a Monday ready to go and the entire project was completed by Friday. We had decided to go with the synthetic turf to replace the grassy area in the side yard and it has been the perfect solution for the kids to play on and for the puppies to enjoy. The landscaping around the perimeter has brought the yard to life and the landscape lighting that highlights the pygmy palms in the evenings has our yard feeling like a tropical oasis. It's been over two months since Nature's Dream designed and installed my landscaping and we couldn't be happier with the results. Victoria and Ray were professional from start to finish and provided the level of service we were looking for. I loved the fact that they took the time to get to know the property and get familiar with our overall aesthetic before presenting us with designs. Once we agreed on terms, they constantly stayed in touch throughout the process. Even though they had other jobs going on we always felt like a priority and once work got going, which wasn't long after, they worked quickly and carefully. Their crew was great and even came back the following days to make sure every detail we agreed upon was taken care of. I didn't even have to follow-up. We used Victoria to design and install our landscaping after one of the hurricanes a couple of years ago. They also provide contractors to fix our sprinkler system and our patio pavers. They and the contractors were on time, efficient, and left the house and yard very clean after they finished. Also used Ray recently to cut our trees and shrubs and they did a great job. They are very honest and reliable . Not only did they assist us with our landscaping they also helped us with our future Remodeling plans . Our condo board selected Natures Dream to design and install a new landscaping program that would enhance our property with its difficult lighting conditions for a great low maintenance and hearty foliage. She provided a design board that allowed all unit owners to comment and sign on with the program. The worst landscaper in South Florida. I asked Ray three different times to tell his crews to keep grass, leaves and trimmings out of my pool and off my patio area but three times this continued to happen so I had to fire his company. You can imagine my dismay when I come home from work and have to spend hours cleaning up after Rays crews. Find anther company. read more

I giving one because I can't give zero. Don't be full by that company. They have been providing maintenance for my yard for months. They cut the grass and suppose to care for my plants and trees. To trim, apply fertilizer to plants/flowers, remove dead leaves. Well, they literally come cut the grass and leave your house like a dumpster afterwards. The service is being progressively declining. I have approached the staff several times. They said they will take care of it. I turned my back and they leave. They broke my sprinkle and now I have water being wasted going over the fence. I just replaced the drain cutter and they just smashed!! How in this word somebody can be so careless that can smashed just a heavy and strong thing. Not even mentioned, super expensive. When I first met Ray, he seems so knowledgeable and I sign this contract with all these things they will do in my property. Now, this huge headache that my husband and I have to clean after them. I was so excited to redo my entire landscaping with Nature's Dream 6 months ago however it was and is a nightmare. They appear to want to do a good job however they are not competent. After spending close to $20,000, almost everything is dead. From the plant selection to the planting method to the sprinklers, everything was poorly done. An entire hedge in the back died, another hedge in the front died, an ornamental tree in the front died, an ornamental bush died, the container pots died and the remainder of the plants look like they are not thriving or growing. Even though I was told the plants were appropriate, they died. First of all, a lot of the plants were planted too above ground with the root ball 3" above ground level (they had to come back and dig deeper), the sprinkler adjustment was $900 and I told them 1 of the underground pipes was broken and the gentleman said no, however it was, and they had to come back and fix it. I had to bring a sprinkler company to adjust what they did. The plants were not properly planted so the roots could not take hold. I press the ground around the plants and it is completely soft which shows improper planting. The container pots were not elevated, so the water could not drain and they drowned. They said the plants usually go into shock when first planted and to give them time but it has been 6 months and no progress. What remains looks terrible. I had to spend thousands again to replace almost everything. Great sales pitch and they agree to do everything you want but they are not competent to deliver quality results. read more
