My Search Started to come up with Bayamito & Sons. Michael the Owner came out to do the Assessment with a Coconut Removal Quote and a Whole Tree Removal Quote. Since the Coconuts were Straight Over our Roof and Falling we decided the Removal was right decision. They Guaranteed Full Stump Removal and since the Job was being done right before Bulk Trash we saved on "Tree Removable Take-Away". While in the Process of Removing the Coconut Palm we decided to take out a couple of Rotting Palms on Property as they were Slowly on a Disintegrating Process. The Guarantee was to have ALL Stumps Removed as we Explained we will be Re-Planting in the Removed Areas. The Coconut Tree was taken down, piece by piece.. The Palm were Removed.. BUT the Stumps still Remained in All Areas. After "Removal" it was a Huge Struggle to Replant as the Stumps were Clearly still there. Extra ExTRa Work to Fully Remove.. Also, while picking-up items around the Yard the BobCat Broke one of our Sprinkler Lines. Left for us to deal with the Aftermath.. After all said and done, not the Best Experience but the Job got Done atleast with the Tree Removal.

He gave a very reasonable quote for the job (unlike other companies that were charging me triple to quadruple the cost). I couldn't believe it when I heard him say he can do it that same weekend morning. He communicated well and let me know when he was on his way or at the gate. When he arrived, he was professional and did the job efficiently. He even cleaned up the area afterwards and didn't damage the surrounding area. I highly recommend Mike & Bayamito & Sons for any tree stump removal!

I am sad to write this unfortunate review on a local business, but I have to share my experiences…read moreover the past 10 months with Alain and his business. Overall: He has good prices, but lost my trust as he failed to show up and took advantage of my not being in the same city as the property I asked for lawn maintenance. I sincerely hope he will learn to do better even though he didn't do right by me. *First impression* As you can read from my first review, I was really impressed with my first experience with him. He asked for a review immediately for the other company name EZ Yards, but said he had some issue with Yelp account. He responded timely and did the job amazingly. I requested lawn maintenance (hedges and mow the lawn) every two months (he insisted on monthly - I obliged bc it's small business) on my parents' property in a different city than where I live. I needed a business I could trust that would do the job and do it well. My parents are getting older and Alain seemed to understand the importance of family. And I've been taken for a ride! *The long game* I was very impressed the second time he came when I wasn't in the city because this time before asking for payment he sent pictures. *Red flags I should've noticed* - He insisted monthly maintenance, but instead came when he could. - I would receive text messages saying he was going to the property thinking he would show up only for another one to come the next week saying he was definitely going. - He never sent pictures to prove the maintenance was done, but again I thought I could trust him. *Chances Upon Chances* One of his services said he could cut tree branches. So I asked if he could trim some branches. I sent him pictures of the tree I wanted cut. He said that if he hauled them away it would be extra so it would be cheaper to leave it for the city to pick up. I told him where the city would pick up and even sent him a picture. I came to check on the property to find the tree was poorly cut and the branches left in the wrong spot. I didn't mind the tree, but told him he placed the branches in the wrong area. He said he would show up that day to move them. Then, he said he would show up the next day. He never showed. Instead, I had to move the branches myself with my older mother in the rain to avoid a citation from the city. Despite this I wanted to give him another chance, he shared with me that he had something come up with his family. He wasn't specific, but I decided to give him another chance bc of how much I love and care for my family. *The Last Experience* End of April 2021/Beginning of May 2021: I asked if he could go to the property and cut the lawn and hedges (regular lawn maintenance) bc we got a citation from the city. He said he would get to our property but it's taking him time bc he landed a big contract. Regardless, he said he cut it and asked me for $60 I came to visit my parents for Mother's Day weekend just to find that the bushes were not cut and the edges where the grass meets cement or the house were over a foot tall. I sent him pictures and circled the areas. He didn't respond. I had to text him again asked for an explanation. His response exactly: "My. Weed whacked broke on the spot." I asked about the hedges and he never responded. I don't understand why ask for money when you didn't do the job bc your machine broke? Why not tell me? My only guess is bc he knew I dont live in the same city and can only visit when I can. He never apologized nor did he say I'll come back and do it. He never offered to refund my money. I thought that he wouldn't want to lose consistent business so I was hoping he would apologize but here we are in the middle of June and I haven't heard a thing. We live in a time where trust is easily broken. It's hard to find people and business to trust. I trusted this man. I truly did, and I feel nothing short but taken advantage of. *Why then am I giving him two stars instead of one?* Bc I know deep down he is a good man. I think if you live on the property and can see the job he does immediately; He won't take advantage of you. *Use my review as a notice of caution* I want his business to succeed and maybe it's growing at an exponential rate that he can't keep up. He would rather choose businesses that offer more money than a residential home that's essentially lowering hanging fruit. Perhaps, if you go into business with him you too might want a contract. I've learned my lesson. I hope he will do better. I wish him the best, and I will fight for my money refunded from the bank.

After months of searching for a company (or various companies or individuals) to undertake a…read morecomplete backyard overhaul, we settled on Anderson Landscaping. The scope of the project included a brand new fence around the entire perimeter of the house, the addition of two new fence doors (for a total of four new fence doors), removal of a fair sized existing concrete slab, paver installation, crushed granite installation along both sides of the house, and finally laying new sod and planting shrubs and trees. Before Anderson Landscaping came to our attention, we had been unable to find a company who did it all. We tried to separately coordinate fence people, with paver people, with landscaping people, all to no avail. Sadly, in Miami, the concept of customer service is lost on most of these tradespeople. But not on Anderson Landscaping! Previous to Anderson Landscaping we had dealt with people or companies who either didn't return initial inquiry calls, or made the site visit and said they would quote and never did, or quoted and then disappeared when we wanted to engage them with the work. If you're looking for a company that does it all, and does it professionally, within budget, and on time, then don't waste your time or look any further. Just call Tod Anderson and thank me later. From day one, up until weeks after the project was completed and we had follow-up questions, Tod was courteous, professional, and prompt in all our dealings with him. If he didn't answer our calls right away, he would call back within a couple of hours, if not sooner. We always felt like we knew exactly where we stood with him, and we were always confident about a successful outcome to our project. Months before the start of the project, he had provided us with an estimated start date, and continually updated us on it, and ultimately started EARLIER than projected. His crew are also all very competent and professional, and worked diligently and completed the entire project in around 10 business days. They were on site every single weekday during the two week term of the project. It's been almost a month and a half since they completed the work and we couldn't be happier with the results. Tod and his crew transformed what was previously an unusable, barren wasteland into a lush garden oasis that we now look forward to stepping out into. The before and after photos should speak for themselves.

Todd did a first project for me billed at $7,000. His crew was on time and finished in one day,…read morealthough prices were high. His $1,500 design fee (credited to the job) only got me generic ideas, like fishtail palms everywhere and a $5,000 fountain, for a modern new build with a large atrium. Both design visits lasted 15-30 minutes and felt rushed. I ended up designing it myself. For a 2nd job, a stone path, Todd asked for a $2,000 deposit just to bring samples, promising it would go toward other work if nothing worked. None of the samples worked (too cheap looking for a $1.6mm modern home) and nothing was approved. I have screenshots of me still sending path ideas, and his team dropping off more samples, after I paid. I bought stone myself for $1,300. Todd quoted over $5,000 to install it. Another contractor did it for $1,300. I then asked to use the deposit to have his crew plant the plants I bought, knowing $2,000 was far more than the work was worth. He refused and said his minimum to come to my house (located near Brickell) was $3,400. Someone else planted everything plus extra work for $900. Todd has so far refused to refund the deposit. As a business owner myself, I'm appalled. Todd's pricing: Mondo grass: $13 each installed ($3 in store) Palms: $450 each, quoted at 6-8 ft, installed at 4-5 ft ($75 in store) Japanese blueberry: $800 each ($275 in store) Buttonwood tree: $1,200. Another landscaper did it for $220, tree included. My recommendation: Use AI for your design. Take pictures of your house and note how much sun each area gets, then check your plant choices with the nurseries south of Miami and order from them (delivery is about $75). Finally, find a landscaper on Facebook Marketplace who will work hourly. I paid mine $40 an hour, which came to $700 plus a $200 tip. For me, Todd's quotes were 3 to 5 times higher than doing it this way. I will update this review if any of the deposit is refunded.
