I've lived in a small apartment complex for eight years. The Nature's Best employees have been doing the landscape maintenance since I moved in. The employees don't know the difference between perennial plants and obvious weeds. I have to put up signs next to each plant so they don't pull them. For some reason they dump out flower pots with plants and flowers growing in them. They sometimes come and work for five minutes and leave without finishing. When blowing leaves and debris, they also blow out the mulch from the beds. Mulch I paid for and applied. Today, I was getting my toddler grandson out of the car and one guy walked within six inches behind me with a leaf blower and blew mud and wet leaves all over the bottom half of my pants, exposed ankles and shoes. The guy smiled, said sorry and kept blowing leaves. In the winter, they ignore my signs and constant requests to not put ice melt on my stoop. Our maintenance team has told me Nature's Best has been asked numerous times to fix the drip irrigation system but they refuse even though it's in their contract, so I watered the shrubs and plants with a hose all last summer and most of the previous summer. They don't return phone calls or emails. If you a good experience with this company, you are lucky! read more

Having read some not so good reviews but understanding that some people just cannot be pleased, I decided to try Nature's Best. From the moment I was on the phone with Lori, I was impressed at the full on business like responses to my questions and the quick replies by the departments requiring my requests. I was given two contacts for my needs, Craig with the Yard Clean Up and mowing and weeding and Jake to address my lack of proper equipment (sprinkler system and maintenance of same). Jake was by in a day and Craig in two. So far, I am impressed. Jake and I discussed the installation and maintenance of a new system at my house beginning next spring. We will discuss this at a further date. He made some suggestions which helped me to rethink some of my outdoor design and helped me with the nuances of Montana winters and underground sprinklers. At the designated date and time, Craig showed up with his crew, truck and trailer. The jungle that had become my yard was quickly and efficiently tamed into a shadow of it's former glory. As this is a rental property and the ball got dropped at some point in the last few years while my husband and I have been on the road with the management company, it had come to our attention that the alley behind the house was getting smaller and smaller and the weed patch growing exponentially. Even the garbage truck guys were thankful the next pick up day! There was a tree in dire need of pruning the same said garbage truck was having issues getting past and an abundance of suckers becoming a giant shrub under my Lilac bushes and inviting wandering vagabonds to use for laundry storage or what have you. I have a ways to go, but with the help of Lori, Jake, Craig and the crew, I hope to have a lawn worth sitting upon, trees without little green bugs, a sidewalk to walk on without ducking wayward branches. So far, I am giving Nature's Best a 4 star rating... I have a small patch of sod yet to get picked up for the 5th star! You all are great. Maybe even Missoula's best kept secret! One of their guys,urinated right in front of us getting out of our car .an older guy. He then about 3wks later united whole fixing something outside our neighbors apartment at creekside apts. They also cut our new flowers up with their weed eater .the flowers were not even on the grass. The 2nd time he urinated outside I said,something and he didn't seem to care that we saw him. read more

I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I can honestly say you should give other landscape services in Missoula a shot before calling Natures Best. From June 1st till today, they've only mowed my lawn to a satisfactory level once. They've broken electrical conduit brackets, branches off of trees and fruit trees, bent wire brackets that protect trees, mowed the front but not the back, left the gate open multiple times, tore up grass with their mower because it's too big and they're lazy, and edged so short it will likely kill the grass. To top it all of they talked back about getting called out for leaving the gate open. All said, my expectations are that they mow, trim, and close the gate. I'm not expecting Fenway park level quality, just consistency and professionalism. read more

Had them come out June of last year and got a bid to landscape backyard. Agreed to the bid and was told they would start in in July towards end of month as sod farm was out of sod. Kept trying to get in touch to get an update and kept being told they would get to it and then was told in October they wouldn't be able to do it until the spring. Got in touch with them this spring and the new landscape manager came out and told me the previous landscape manager who bid it didn't bid it correctly and the price would be higher than bid. Said he would rework the quote and get back to me. After a month of waiting for his quote, I gave up. So basically a year wasted. read more

PUBLIC PAY ATTENTION -ABUSIVE & RETALIATORY Well I was hoping I could come back after a few months and this business would have taken responsibility for their actions/non-actions. I would have deleted my previous post and pictures if they had any integrity and dealt with their actions professionally. Sometimes (actually all the time), it's simply the best thing for your business to simply apologize when you make mistakes. Believe it or not, it actually feels better than what you are feeling now. I'm sure you're feeling more anger at my new post. Not to mention, then the people you are working for actually like you and give you positive reviews! Unfortunately, you have decided to retaliate against our entire complex. I guess you think you can because you are paid by our landlord, Tamarack Property Mgmt. I just want to remind you that there are old and disabled people living here. Somebody could get hurt because you don't shovel our walkways, you don't salt the ice, you literally drive a plow through here, back it up and drive it through the second driveway without lowering the plow once. I have video of this. Would you like me to post that with the other pictures? You may be fooling the gps or your boss or whatever you think you're doing but my cameras are recording all this. You think it's just me that wants you to quit your nonsense but I am in touch with every single tenant in this complex and they are all willing to drop your services for a teenage kid to take over. We may as well pay for the services we receive. Teenagers come with the same poor attitude but at least they have an excuse. Saves everyone lots of money and frustration, don't ya think? This place did the lawn in my back yard, but not to our agreed upon specifications. They left the water running every two hours for over two weeks. Things were flooding and I had to call them to get them to reset the system. The owner to look at the issues and was rude and nasty to me. He used the word "pissy" three times. I'm a respectable woman and he tried to intimidate me. Will not recommend at all! read more
