This place is remarkable. I can't even begin to describe level of selection and variety they carry in regards to workout supplements, natural vitamins, and proteins - it's a workout enthusiast's candy store. The shop is small and locally run, but the prices are incredibly competitive and match up to the prices of products I get online with deals and offers. After having shopped at chains like the Vitamin Shoppe and GNC, the other reviews are right in that those stores can't compare to this place. If you somebody answer the phone, they should at least know your inventory. I called over there a few minutes ago to see if they had a particular product as they're not too far from me and if they're as well stocked as people say it would be a home run. Well, whoever answered the phone couldn't answer a simple question as to whether they carry a specific product. The man is knowledgeable, friendly, patient and listens to everything you have to say in order to find the exact product your looking for. I used to go to GNC but this place is WAY better. Great selection, they have everything you need. Mickey spent at least 20 minutes with me helping me find a protein powder flavor I liked, giving me samples and letting me try in store before investing in a giant bottle. He also asked questions about my diet and fitness goals to help me find what I was looking for. At the end he gave me a 30% discount on everything- making it a lot cheaper than GNC. Support your local independent shopkeepers! Luckily this place has EVERYTHING, and not the limited selection that many "mom & pop" businesses suffer from. Very friendly one on one personal service if you have any questions since they have a DIZZYING floor to ceiling selection. They will give you free samples of stuff if you want to try, but don't want to shell out a lot for some of the weight training supplements or protein shakes. Nowhere else do they have all of the flavors, all of the sizes, of any product you could ever want! I go there for bodybuilding supplements and they even will match another retailer's advertised price, including online places. So if you want to "shop around" go ahead since they will match but their prices are good anyway. (forget the GNC, Vitamin Store etc. chains where salespeople hound you). There is a store cat too, and sometimes it's a little dusty. read more
