My visits to Natural Grocer were infrequent at first, until I discovered N-Power! I noticed every time I went, the person in front of me was saving money just by claiming to have this membership and imputing their phone number into the keypad before payment was rendered. I finally signed up at home, and low and behold... my next purchase saved me $2 automatically without me even doing anything, AWESOME! The membership allows you to upload sales/coupons right to your account so there are no coupons to loose on the way to the store or at the bottom of my purse. Convenient much? Yup! The store is small and quaint, but well stocked, and often have some of our regular groceries that we purchase at another store at lower prices. I have recently made my trips more frequent, and love the friendly staff. I appreciate their no-bags policy, as this keeps me mindful to have my grocery sacks handy, but if you forget them, there are boxes aplenty right near the register available for use. They had a very fun Anniversary party recently with discounts and samples as well as giveaways. We did not win the vacation, but did win a nice glass jar to store or liquids in the fridge. Thanks Natural Grocers for keeping your store so lovely and having friendly staff, we will visit more often! L.

    Bagless checkout. Noice!

NG is my favorite place for buying keto friendly ingredients as much of what we use at home has been of good quality and low in price. I add my Npower rewards and my military discount and I come out with even better buys. As I've made it clear in many of my past reviews, I don't like crowds and I never have this issue here which is another reason I love them. It's a decent size store that's really focused on natural and organic products. The employees are always friendly and willing to assist if needed. There have been quite a few times I've overheard them giving suggestions and offering up their knowledge on a particular product.

Trying out healthier eating, and adding in vitamins after much research. Pretty cool place.

I did not find Natural Grocers to have near the selection that Spouts had. They did have a very large vitamin section though.

Blair was working and answered all of my questions- she was great! All of the food is natural and they provide plenty of dairy-free/gluten-free options if you need that! I picked up the Turkey Meatloaf (although I really had a hard time deciding) between 4 of them. I heated this up in the microwave as soon as I got home and it was so delicious! Much better than the Turkey meatloaf from SnapKitchen which I had tried before. Everything in the container (Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, and meatloaf) were really bold in flavor and didn't make you feel like you were sacrificing flavor for it being healthy. For 308 calories in a dinner that is filling- you really can't go wrong! Since trying the first one, I also tried the Sirloin Beef and Broccoli (355 calories) which had a bit of heat (spiciness) to it but otherwise the flavor was just YUM. Another winning meal! I also grabbed the hummus and an olipop for snacking on later which were also great! Love this little shop and will definitely be back!

I came in looking for some calming teas, and the gentleman here found me some and recommended a drink called Be Calm. Not only did he recommend it, but he prepared a sample for me. It's magnesium powder that can be instantly activated with warm water, and I felt the calming benefits almost instantly (took less than 30 minutes). Last time I came in they were out, but he showed me another one called Garden of Life Magnesium that works just as well. Another time, I came in for some amino acid pre-workout powder, and again the gentlemen took the time to prepare me some samples and even threw in a shaker bottle with my purchase of Amino Flow. This has helped me so much. Now when I work out, I hardly ever get the muscle aches the following day. I can tell the guys here are very passionate about helping the customers get the products that are best tailored to the individual client, as opposed to some places that seem to just be trying to make a certain quota. I am very grateful for the help I've received here, and they have earned a loyal customer for life.

Since then, I have moved to San Antonio and am a regular at this store. This location of Cost Plus Nutrition has very friendly staff (talk to Hank or Jacob) and they're always happy to help you find the product for your needs. They have a great selection of products and carry a good range of local specialty products to your usual bars like the Quest/ One Brands. My favorite thing about this store though is your ability to find a new/ tasty protein snack here- they're always finding things that are new to the market and that taste great (Alpha Prime Brownies, Legendary Tasty Cakes, Etc) before they become mainstream. Only issues with this store is that the company is smaller so they don't have a ton of inventory and are often sold out of the product you go in looking for and they have to order it. Also, they are sometimes a bit higher in price than other stores because they're small but they're always happy to understand where they can do better (I've never left dissatisfied). Overall, this is a good store with fun products and nice staff- visit them!

At the time, my primary goal was to rebuild a healthy relationship with food while supporting my recovery and overall health. From the beginning, I clearly communicated these goals. Despite this, I was placed on an extremely restrictive plan of approximately 1,300 calories per day. Given my history, this approach was not only inappropriate but harmful. My primary care doctor (who had been closely involved in my recovery) reviewed the plan and expressed serious concern. Within just a few days of following the plan, I experienced a rapid decline in my mental and physical health, including severe depression, anxiety, and a resurgence of disordered eating thoughts. This was especially distressing after the progress I had made over the prior months. When I shared this with Kay, she adjusted the plan slightly, but it remained insufficient for my activity level and recovery needs. At the time, I was dancing multiple times per week, doing Pilates, and strength training, making the prescribed intake unrealistic and unsustainable. As my condition worsened, I asked my mother to join a call for support. She had been closely involved in my recovery and was trying to help me advocate for myself. During and after this interaction, Kay was dismissive of my decision to involve her, emphasizing that her contract was solely with me. While I understand professional boundaries, the tone and handling of the situation felt demeaning given the context of my health concerns. Kay offered a $500 credit toward supplements through her platform, but this required purchasing through her directly, which did not feel like a meaningful resolution. She also stated I could resume working with her in the future. After reviewing everything again, my primary doctor strongly advised me to discontinue Kay's plan immediately. She also sent a formal letter requesting at least a partial refund, acknowledging that while some work had been done, the plan had caused clear harm. That letter went unanswered. It has now been over six months without any response. I respect that practitioners deserve compensation for their time. However, in this case, the outcome was a significant setback to my health after only a few days on the program. I am sharing this experience in the hope of both accountability and resolution.
