I ended up picking up an air plant as a souvenir for myself. Looking through them, the air plants (depending on the type of air plant) range from $6 to $12. From examining each plant, they all look healthy. Although, the one i got had some brown leaves on it but i was able to keep it alive. Overall, I recommend this place for any plant parents out there. This was my second visit. The first time, 3 employees were at the front desk looking at their phones. They glanced up when I came in and then went back to their phones. No "hi", no smile, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Since the store was fairly new, I thought maybe they didn't have retail experience yet. I bought a couple of items and left. Today, nothing has changed. The guy at the register was on his phone and eating. No customer greeting. I walked around the store and saw some plants I liked. This time however, I didn't buy anything. I just left. It costs employees nothing to smile and say hi. I wasn't looking for a personal shopper, but an acknowledgement would have made a huge difference. There are plenty of other plant stores. I'll go to them.

I called the Fargo store and was told that nothing could be done at the local level. Fargo gave me a toll free number which I called and, after 21 minutes on the phone there, I was informed that the additional hold would stay in place but would go away in 3 to 10 days. In other words, my debit card has been charged double for the purchase and the corporate answer was, essentially, 'don't worry, the extra hold will eventually go away'. Meanwhile, if I use my card, the additional hold will undoubtedly affect approval of future purchases on the card.
