Why on earth would I pay them good money to do that kind of bad stuff to me? Losing eyeballs by charging will cost The World money. You see, those ads need eyeballs and fewer eyeballs means lesser ad revenue. We already have seen the South Coast Shopper take a huge chunk out of The World's classified ad revenue over the years with their free paper model based on having the advertisers pay. I'm not up for paying cash for ads I can get everywhere, anywhere and elsewhere for free...LOL! I'll stick to reading the free papers and listening to the local gossip. We don't need no stinkin' badges, er, overpriced fishwrap!
