The latest or last to comment is January 30, 2026 and they are Local Person of Sacra! The first to review is September 8, 2025 and they are of town Davis! Thank you to Jennifer for her great service! It was the word Herringer that made me hesitant! However, the lady at Old Town Visitor Center just across the street from your restaurant says is not age twenty one and over! She has seen families go in, families meaning with children! I did see some tables and people are sitting at the tables! As for the question does television have closed captioning or something to that wording, I put NOT SURE! I thank goodness not see any televisions of any kind! I go to a restaurant to look at the menu, to eat, not be distracted by very loud televisions! Okay, so for the food! She did say there are two sandwiches! I choose the turkey and cheddar, the other variety sounded as it will be too hard for me to eat! I choose the turkey and cheddar! They give Military Discounts, yay for that! For Old Town Sacra, with discount, came to $7.20, so yes, the ten dollar was enough! Unlike one restaurant (will not be named) that recently closed down, they do not steal my bottled water! She even asked if I wanted it refilled, no charge to refill it! The bread, turkey, lettuce, cheese, yes worth with discount of $7.20! For those that work that volunteer in Old Town Sacra, they give the Old Town Merchant (Neighbor) Discount! Glad for Military Discounts and what I call the Neighbor Discounts!

Service is quick and checks up on you frequently. I came with a few of my friends, and we sat on couches around a large table, playing games for hours! Wine is excellent, especially the reserve wines. Would recommend a bottle of the reserve Chardonnay. Have already gone twice in one week and will definitely be back again!

The bands drew a mostly older crowd, but there was a mix of younger people too. There were a number of food trucks offering pizzas, burgers, Indian food, and treats. Some local radio stations, internet providers, scooter rental, and put put golf businesses also had booths at the event. They were giving away coupons, contest entries, and schwag to promote their businesses. It was all good. The drinks started at $5.00 for a water, 8.00 for a Michelob Ultra, $12.00 for a premium beer, and ended at $14.00 for a cocktail. Not exactly budget friendly, but I've seen prices that are worse. Big shout out to Bonney Heating and Air for their cooling tent with the misters. That was a game changer!

Each year it seems they get better and better headliner acts. This year they even had some last minute surprise performers such as Papa Roach and Sage the Gemini. They have a mix of music themes and just last year (2023) they made a night dedicated to EDM (electronic dance music). The music performances are definitely the highlight, but on top of that they have food vendors, clothing, accessories, silent disco, local artists and other local business booths. For alcoholic beverages- they use a token system where you buy tokens (preset amounts) at the cashier booth, then you can exchange the tokens at the bar for drinks. This year they had a VIP area where you could purchase a wristband for $15 and you get access to an exclusive 21+ section with a private bar and some seating and stand up tables (and they even served margaritas there unlike the regular bar) plus if you get there and purchase a wristband before 7pm you get a free drink token for any drink on the menu. Totally worth it. I am a huge fan of this event and recommend it to all. It's a lot of fun and again it's free entry. I have discovered some new bands this way as well and have enjoyed it.

Located on J Street on the 27th block, this small club exceeded all my expectations for this show. Parking is mostly all neighborhood parking at street meters, but the venue only holds maybe 300 so its not horrible Going through security and ticket check was relatively quick and painless, with security and employees all easy going and pleasant. Once inside, the merch tables were a little cramped, but merch was displayed prominently and transactions were quick and easy. The bar area to right when you first walk in takes up almost the whole wall, with multiple bartenders taking orders and serving customers so ordering a beer was quick to come, ice cold and not ridiculously marked up compared to other places .They also had various mixed drink options. The actual floor/stage area was small, intimate and surrounded at back and on side with raised area with some tables and chairs that were reserved, I assume for an extra price (I didnt inquire). The acoustics were quite good, considering the bands playing(opener was a so cal punk band called The Mainliners), headliner was a heavy metal stoner/grunge type band from Norway (Slomosa). A great evening of music, venue is exceptional, looking forward to finding a show I can take the wife too, as I never explored the back or upper areas that I understand add even more layers to an exceptional experience at this venue.

The craft fair itself was great and everyone there was so nice, but the winery is what really got me. I already know I need to come back with friends. The wine selection looked amazing and they have all kinds of snacks, games, and different areas to sit and just vibe. The decor was everything. Bookshelves filled with old timey books, really cool lighting, just a whole mood. I didn't love the wine I picked, but that one is on me since I skipped doing a tasting first. Lesson learned. I definitely want to go back when it's a little less busy so I can really take my time and explore everything. Lucid Winery... I will be back.

The place is bright with friendly patron. What I like more is this place served as community hub, from speed dating, live music, game night, etc. A lot of events hold in this place. Stay tuned. Edit: For me, what would make it a 5-star experience is having wines that stand out more (based on the tasting I had). I also appreciate the charcuterie setup, but a broader or more substantial food selection would elevate the experience. Lastly, a bit more organization in the space and overall flow could make it feel even more polished.
