Ambiance:
Sherry operates out of her home, so it's very welcoming, and you're not sitting in a waiting room with a bunch of strangers wondering if that's Sherry when they walk out. She will greet you at her door, and lead you to the massage room which always smells heavenly, is dimly lit, and has the tranquil sounds of spa music permeating it. She also offers hot towels at the end of your visit, which is my fave!
Services:
There are variety of services she offers: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal Massage, and Therapeutic Cupping, in 60 or 90 min sessions.
Breakdown of your visit:
Sherry will sit down with you prior to your first massage, discuss your issues whether it be pain, circulation, or relaxation, and you will determine together what therapy to start. Sherry has the hands of a Titan if you like a deep massage, as well as the touch of butterfly if that is what you prefer. She takes your direction and adjusts to your comfortability. I never have felt uncomfortable saying 'that's too hard' or 'lady, put some more weight in to it'. During your massage, if you want to chat, Sherry will chat, and if you want silence she'll only speak when to tell you to turn over. She takes the interaction cues from you. Sometimes I'm snoring 5 minutes in, and others we're chatting about fun places to visit.
