The Water Boy did a great job finding my leak and getting my irrigation control box back to working. They were reasonably priced and did a great job even though my yard was not cooperating. The valves were covered in roots and looked like a jungle in the valve box. They hacked their way though all the roots and managed to install all new parts and got my water going again. Thanks Guys! I've used their services for my irrigation system before and was satisfied, which is why I reached out to them again. However, this recent experience was extremely disappointing. At the beginning of the week, I called to schedule a check-up for my backyard irrigation system. They told me they'd reach out once they were available, but I didn't hear back until Friday -- after waiting the entire week. Unfortunately, when they finally responded, I was about to go into surgery and couldn't accommodate them. Frustrated, I expressed my disappointment over text. The following week, I contacted them again because I still preferred their work. I spoke with Kevin, explained the situation, and was told they wouldn't be available until Thursday or Friday. Yet, it's now the end of Friday, and I still haven't received a callback. Poor communication, unreliable follow-up, and terrible service. I wouldn't recommend them unless you enjoy being ignored and disappointed. read more

He has always provided healthy plants and trees and his recommendations are spot on. Who knew you can grow apples and plums in the Arizona heat? Kevin did and I am thrilled with his choices. We met Kevin at the Home Show and we are so thankful we did! Our irrigation system was old and needed replaced, we hired a different company (Rainmaker Pros - stay away from them!) prior to the home show to replace our old system and they were awful, they used cheap recycled material, didn't cap off lines which left significant free flowing leaks, and left everything a hot mess when they finished. Thankfully we met Kevin a week after that happened, he came out a few days later to take a look at the mess the other company left, and provided us with a reasonaly priced quote to completely redo our system (the right way!). The work crew was fantastic! Dakota the crew chief did a great job of keeping us updated on progress and showing us the things we needed to know. They used high end materials and color coded all 4 of our lines. When they finished, everything was cleaned up and you couldn't tell they were even there. We saw Kevin's trailer with his Irrigation business contact info one weekend while running errands. Shortly after that, we needed a small irrigation system installed at one of our rental properties. We gave Kevin a call in short order he got a look at the property and gave us an estimate. Within a week after estimate, we gave Kevin the go to put in the system. Kevin and his team did a great job. The install was excellent; very professional job. He used great materials that far exceed local big box lumber/hardware stores. Kevin was easy to deal with and accomplished the job on schedule. Very lucky to find Water Boy Irrigation Solutions. Kevin runs an amazing operation. He was very clear what needed to be done with installing our new drip line systems along with repairing existing lines. The project came in on budget and on schedule, and this is a place that screams INTEGRITY. Kevin dropped our project in the midst of a huge irrigation and landscaping contract, leaving us "high and dry" not completing what we had agreed upon. His reason suddenly became that our home was too far a drive for him. (Blindingly unprofessional) We paid hundreds of dollars extra for his "warranty" which he refused to honor when our trees and plants died, despite him planting them with less than agreed upon number of emitters for the root ball (cutting corners). When he was asked to honor his warranty, he threw a fit accusing us of actively killing our own landscaping because we "chose the wrong time to plant." When we showed him in our communications he was the one who insisted on planting at the wrong time because he did not want to be held responsible for trees he bought several months too early (against our request to plant in the Spring), he was too proud to apologize and too unprofessional to honor his warranty. I encourage anyone who has had bad service from this company to file a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. In the end, we were relieved to move on from this horrible contractor and work with someone who is grateful for the business, treats us with respect, and doesn't throw a tantrum about suddenly not wanting to drive to finish a contracted job. read more
