Nationwide in Liverpool is located on Lord Street, it is probably rather isolated in terms of location and although it is in Liverpool city centre, it isn't in the most central or obvious of locations such as around Paradise and Bold Streets, where many of the banks in the city are located.
This branch of Nationwide is on Lord Street, albeit still within walking distance of the One, it is also close to banks such as Santander and TSB.
The branch its-self isn't very modern, I also found it to be very understaffed with very few facilities, I only noticed a single machine for banking activities, and a single member of staff on the front, to the point where service was very slow and it seemed there was no one there to help out with increased demand, such as larger queues at the time I visited which did appear to be quite busy in branch.
The staff member working on the front didn't seem too friendly either, she just seemed a little slow in dealing with customers.
Inside the branch, it felt a little old and miserable - facilities were poor especially compared to other branches of Nationwide such as Manchester and rival banks and building societies as a whole so sadly I feel this branch of Nationwide is disappointing, and deserves a single one-star rating. read more
