First, you find out their appraiser "pool" comes from a source showing a 1.5-star online review status; then, you're assigned an appraiser whose "out of business," in less than 30 days; after; of course, said appraiser fails to acknowledge recent pertinent costly improvements made to both home and property, records blatant errors in the final report; and, most negatively impacts your lending options. If you voice your concerns, effective communication plummets; you're required to sign a waiver implying you could get all the way to the end of the loan process and still be denied; as well as outright told untruths regarding your application, just to pacify you. If this behavior just doesn't quite sit right with you, you're instructed to talk with "Tony." Now, apparently Tony's sooo important, it takes several weeks for him to contact you (by phone). Then, evidently Tony's sooo busy, he admits to now "multi-tasking"; thus, not paying attention to your legitimate concerns; until, at some point, "selectively" hearing what he can take out of context; distort, and lambaste you with; while, failing to demonstrate even one aspect of having a positive attitude, empathy; as well as, patience, for the matter at hand; failing to actively listen, effectively communicate, problem-solve; as well as, negotiate; and, most-importantly, failing to demonstrate effective customer relationship-building skills. Certain staff at NL state it's not uncommon for folk like you and me to simply "hang up" on them; can't say I blame 'em!
