I strongly advise anyone considering Alpine Perfect Water Technologies to do their research before…read moreletting their representatives into your home. Their business model relies on high-pressure sales tactics, extreme financial commitments, and trapping customers in an absurdly expensive maintenance ecosystem. Here are the facts of my experience: 1. The High-Pressure Sales Pitch: They come to your house offering a "water test." The goal of this demonstration is to make you panic about your tap water quality so they can justify selling you a system that costs upwards of $4,000. 2. The 10-Year Financing Trap: To make the massive $4,000+ price tag seem manageable on a monthly basis, they aggressively push you to sign a 10-year financing contract. Financing a residential water filter for a decade is completely unreasonable and is designed to lock you into long-term debt. 3. The Hidden Maintenance Costs: This is the most deceptive part. During the pitch, the true cost of maintenance is downplayed. Their systems use proprietary, imported "European" filters. Because the fittings are unique to their equipment, you cannot buy standard, affordable replacements at a hardware store or online. You are entirely dependent on Alpine Perfect for parts, and they charge a staggering $450 every time you need a filter change. To put this in perspective: you can buy a brand-new, top-tier, 5-stage Reverse Osmosis system online for $200, and a year's supply of standard replacement filters costs about $60.

They installed an under-sink drinking water system as well as a whole-house system. Vlad performed a detailed chemical analysis of the tap water and clearly demonstrated how alarming its condition was. After the installation, he repeated all the tests, and I am extremely satisfied with the results -- all indicators now show ideal values. From now on, there will be no chlorine, PFAS, or other compounds dangerous to health in my home!

We had other good quotes but every question we asked the other people (will you patch up the floor once you break it open? will you patch up the walls when you break them open?) - we were met with No, you have to get your own people to do that. JOHNNY, however, responded to EVERY question with YES, we can get that done too - replace the tiles in the bathroom? YES (got a tile guy who can do that). What about the garden once it's been dug up? YES I can get the turf and put it down (obviously included in the price) - and our entire hedge needed removing to get to the drains, but he promised to put in bushes (we purchased them, he planted them) - I mean, is there NOTHING this guy can't do??? He didn't go through the living room floor like other people wanted to do (which would be MASSIVE destruction) - he went through the outside, dug underneath - and once he'd replaced the drains, pointed out the water lines were in a bad state - (could he do them? YES) - so he gave us another competitive quote and as the garden was already in disrepair, it made sense to do it then and there - AND his tile guy was great, they fixed every single thing that needed fixing AND on top of this, he told me Listen, I don't like that makeshift fence you have to keep your dog in (it was like white trellis) - I'm going to make you a new wooden fence - no charge. I was astounded. I mean WHO else would be so considerate, for my dog! Anyway, I told him absolutely I wanted a new proper fence AND of course I would pay him , as this was not part of our original deal. He did a fantastic job but it was the thoughtfulness that got to me. Granted, there were problems in the installation, and they ALL related to communication and not showing up when he said he would - and we had it out with him a few times, and he apologized - we said, if you SAY you're coming at a certain time, then either COME at that time or text/call us and tell us you're not coming! I would say this is the biggest complaint we had, which, in the scope of things, at the time really irritated us, but looking back, was really not that big a deal. We kept adding jobs as well - like installing a huge water filter for the entire house (when we used the washing machine, it filled up with yellow water - so we KNEW we needed a water filter) - and he happily installed it. We then asked to pressure wash the roof and paint the house - YES he could do that - adding outside faucets/spigots here and there -and he did (his prices were VERY reasonable). Some of the crew he left here to work while he went to other jobs were not the best - when they painted the outside areas (the concrete), they painted around things instead of moving them - (have you ever heard of anyone painting around a couple of cinder blocks instead of moving them?) - but when we told Johnny, he was not happy with them and apologized to us and came right over and fixed it himself - painting the entire area again and making EVERYTHING right - he planted a few more plants for us, focusing on flowers that my bees would love (I'm a beekeeper) and overall, I'll have to say that a more talented, hardworking, honorable REMARKABLE individual is hard to find. YES I got mad with him from time to time, but it was just communication etc. - there's really NOTHING he can't do (except electrical ) - and after having him working for us on and off for three months, we have finally finished everything - he installed some extra faucets for us, and patched up everything - honestly, when I say remarkable, I mean it. I think sometimes he gets over extended with other projects - but a more hardworking individual you won't find anywhere. Bottom line, if we need anything done (except electrical), there's only ONE person I'd go to, and that's the Tiny Plumber. Johnny, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! You are a CHAMPION.
