It is part of the Waterloo Crescent, the only part of the waterfront not bombed to pieces during WW II. The bar and restaurant are comfortable, clean and have a nice view of the waterfront. The staff are friendly and helpful. My wife and I sat in the bar. I ordered a delicious BLT- £6. It came with a load of vegie crisps and a nice salad. My wife raved about her grilled 3 cheese sandwich- £5. It came with a salad and french fries. The drinks were good, the food excellent and the service personalized. On the occasion we just wanted a sandwich, we found the bacon, lettuce and tomato baguette a crusty delight, although, on this day, the service was a little slow. But, that was to be expected.
