Barretts is the place that all parents spend a lot of money every summer. It is the main place to…read morebuy all the necessary school uniforms for all the local schools. It has a very good stock of all the school uniforms, but beware that it can run low on things just before the September school start date so make sure you don't leave it until the last minute. The staff there are very experienced in knowing exactly what each school uniform consists of; which tie, badge colour of blazer, rugby shirt etc. They are also very good at getting the right size for your child, though sometimes you might want a size bigger for the growth spurt. Having already warned of the low stock at the end of the holidays I must also warn of the long queues which form into the street during the last week or two.
