Hi all I sent my ASUS gaming laptop to National PC solutions as suggested by JB-HIFI back in May of this year. The laptop was working in perfectly and I had 3 different anti virus and malware programs running on the machine regularly. The only issue i was having was the HDMI wouldn't connect with external monitors. NPCS charges you over $150 if you want them to back up data off your computer. I called them and explained i just need the HDMI fixed, the lady told me they would certainly not delete any information and if they needed to they would contact me before they do so. I waited 2 weeks with no word from them. When i contacted them on the second week they said they had removed the hard drive and deleted windows as they both were "zero percent health". Absolutely ridiculous, the laptop was just over a year old and working perfectly. I had some important university research files which were on the hard drive and i told them send me back my hard drive when they send the laptop back so i can retrieve the files, and they promised they would. Another 3 weeks went by with no word from Nat Pc, eventually i started calling them every second day trying to find out when i will get the laptop back. Soon after they said it was fixed and they would send the laptop back with my old hard drive. Unbelievably when it arrived not only did they NOT give my hard drive back, but the laptop WAS NOT EVEN FIXED! I called them and spoke to 4 different employees and they said they sent the hd back with the laptop. I gave up and complained to JB-HIFI, and it was sent to a different repair company in Melbourne and was fixed withing 2 weeks. The other repair company said that Nat PC Solutions would have not known how to fix 'as it was gaming laptop', needed some compensation and took my hard drive. If they say they will send you an original part or your hard drive, TELL THEM YOU WILL PICK IT UP. read more

I wish I could give zero stars for this company. My computer was on extended warranty through JB HIFI and when the screen crapped out within the warranty period I was allocated this company as my repairer. Long story short, they had if for close to a month with absolutely no communication regarding how long it would take. I had to call them and was always given the same excuse: that they were waiting on parts but that they would be there 'soon'. Even when I was finally told it would arrive in 2 days, it took three days to get it back. and the kicker? IT'S STILL BROKEN! And I had to send it back to the same people, becasue that's JB HIFI's policy. Will never buy any complex electronics at JB again, and would strongly recommend people avoid national PC like the plague. read more
