In this school you feel like you're not in the US. If you ask me for my experience there; I would say: it was a nightmare combination of Covid pandemic, coupled deaths of loved ones in my family and I didn't get any support from them; only the same speech of nursing school is highly challenging; if I didn't want to take the challenge I wouldn't go there; they talk to you like talking to a teenager, very disrespectful Anyway that was my mistake to go to that place; because is just a scam, knowing that is uncredited Good luck to everyone trapped there and from my side I don't want to even remember the name or the time and my money that I just threw in the garbage.

I recommend this school because I passed my Nclex on first attempt The staff is helpful caring and encouraging They do their best to push us toward success The teachers are awesome they showed us that we can become nurses with hands on training at the clinical sites and more hands on training on lab days they taught us everything that needed to be known for success on exams ATIs and the Nclex The school is private so the cost is more compared to community college but its worth the price to get into the nursing field within 15months I went to the school because I got tired of waiting for community college nursing program Plus the school has a payment plan so its affordable I finished this school with no student loan debt

This review is for Empty Bowls an annual event held at Oakton Community College. Empy Bowls…read moreprovides support to Caring Closet local food pantries and students. It features pottery and woodworking items, all reasonably priced. I recommend arriving early, 20-30 minutes before it opens to join the line of shoppers, It is very well organized and the ceramic bowls are displayed on a tables set up in a square formation allowing shoppers to walk around the tables. There are hundreds of items. With your purchase you receive a ticket for a bowl of soup, bread, cupcake and beverage. There are a variety of homemade soups to chose from. All the volunteers go above and beyond to ensure the event is well run and a wonderful experience. I highly recommend supporting Empty Bowls, a nonprofit, global movement that has raised millions of dollars .

Case in point: the CIS Chair has a BS in Computer Science, when a Masters is the minimum anywhere else. IAI (Illinois Articulation Initiative) classes require not less than a masters in the field, yet the dept. chair, with a BS, teaches those classes (CIS 101, etc.). If you look at class reveiws (ratemyprofessor, etc.) the words, "easy, turned in half my work and still got an A", etc. keep popping up. This appears to be a recurring issue, so the Dean, VP, Pres., etc. apparently couldn't care less.

During my first year there, I learned how to control myself, respect others, and hold myself accountable for my actions. For my last year and a half, I thrived in the school, becoming a leader, making friends, having amazing grades, fixing up the school, and becoming a better person than I was. Throughout the time I was there, I wanted to just be done with school and live my life, so I did just that; I worked and worked until I graduated a year and a half early. I hope my story will be told by teachers to students that aspire to graduate as early as possible.

Having a dedicated therapist on staff for him that he was able to connect with on a regular basis was very helpful. He flourished in his academics with the mastery approach program. He loved the sports program. My husband and I found the parent sessions reassuring and helpful to talk with other parents. I want to add that they did not "cure" my son of his anxiety but helped him learn to cope. The school was the right place at the right time. He gradated with honors and was accepted into college.
