    What Bobby looks like

    Bobby is inconsiderate, too pushy and only cares about his reward for the sale. Doesn't care that the car is 3x KBB peak price for the 18 Tucson 69k miles. He isn't even in on his own sale? I had to hear from Eric, who tells Bobby (also Bobby gets told by buzz) all of the information about his sale, yet we still have to hear it first from Eric or buzz. The Ohio state FB coach Ryan Day look alike should really do more for having "20 years of experience." He acts like a first year that thinks he just came off Wall Street or something. Fiancé and I go in with her preapproved, Bobby completely ignores this and tries to stick us in a 28k$ Hyundai Tucson priced at 12750 on kbb. This price is the highest of the high for Greater salt lake. Eric then completely removes her and doesn't even go thru her lender that does the CUDL program, making it easier from them to talk. "They haven't approved her at all" NAP says. 7 days later Eric calls me says that the price has gone up again (original he wrote was 259-269) up to 350+. We go in on Monday, return the car. Buzz tries to find us reasonable pricing and Bobby is still fighting for our business. We want to leave. We want our card-paid down payment. Bobby responds with in 2days, a check will be issued then. He continues to tries dropping the price down to 17k. I let them know we aren't interested and will be back in 2days to pick up the check. This car has a lot of external damage be-it cosmetic, smelled like dogs on the inside, had clear dog damage. Not even worth a stop in bc they hike up prices and don't listen to any of your recommendations except what car. We went to Axio behind them, got mid KBB on an EXCELLENT Malibu. FINALLY today, Eric calls saying I've been approved for a cheaper payment. I tell him we backed out 3 days and want our down refunded. Gets the right person on the phone. The only one that got stuff done the first time. Don't remember her name. Bobby then calls me saying we've been approved for cheaper payments. Big pass big dawg. Don't go here. One of the most over priced dealers ever.

They are very honest and I didnt feel like I was going to get scammed. I was a little nervous walking up to a used car dealership. But everything went great. I even threw the invoice into chatgpt to make sure the pricing was well. The other amazing thing was, I bought front break pads from the Mercedes dealership and I asked them if they could use those and change them since I couldnt return it back. They said yes! This is unheard of. Most service companies make money off of parts. But these guys were great. The dealership was clean and everyone was nice. I do most of the work myself because I want to avoid people scamming me. I have already told 4 people about this and plan on posting about it on instagram to let everyone know. Companies need to know if you dont scam people and work with them they will get more business. But companies are trying to get as much from customoers. Thank you KC you were the best! With no time to spare, we bought a Nissan from the CarMax in Meridian, Idaho. There was a known issue with the AC that was agreed to be fixed before her departure. After we walked out of the dealership, the sales person was MIA and was no help. Thankfully, Gabe in the Meridian service department connected us with Hayden. After a sweaty 5 Hour Dr. to Utah, we pulled into CarMax and were in great hands with Hayden. He provided a loaner car, called every day with a status, and was just so accountable for the issue. And it wasn't even from his dealership. Hats off to the UT service dept and to Hayden! He's the best!

Salespeople do not pressure you…read morewhatsoever in terms of buying a car or not, if you find a car you want to look at, you just fill out a form and they hand you the keys for you to drive for 30 mins or so, you get to drive the vehicle wherever you want without a salesperson telling you to turn here and there. I do like that concept because it gives you a better chance of evaluating of the vehicle is for you or not. Once you're done, you go in and decide if you want the vehicle or not. We went through 3 different vehicles within a few weeks. Their 10 day satisfaction is great. We were able to switch and find the exact Audi we wanted with the features that we were looking for. Of course, the 3rd vehicle we got, had a lot of scratches. They took it back within a week and had it fixed.

My car had a tire pressure light on that they said they would fix and when I had it in to fix the just reset the light. The light was on for a reason. There were multiple pieces of metal in the tire (which they said they took off and checked) I had to purchase a tire from Big O. I also had the oil change pckage and the 18 year old that did my last oil change over torqued my drain plug and bent the opening pretty bad so he put a really big after market plug in with a gasket. BMW said that the entire oil pan had to be replaced, Fortunately I went in and threw a big enough fit that they gave me a written promis that they would replace it if it ever leaked. Then I found that the rear passenger door was broken with the child lock on and the Transfer case was out. Everytime I took it back they said it was fine. The warranty that they sold me for 3k was locked to their service dept! I finally got someone to listen to me and they checked out the transfer case and said it did fail. It had metal shavings in the fluid. They used to check off that they rotated my tires and they didnt until I told them too. Then when I drove home my car started making a weird noise about a block from home. My husband checked and the lugnuts on my driver side front tire were so loose that it could have fallen off. I can see why they have been closed down. update: my oil pan is leaking now and the dealer is closed, the gentleman who promised a replacement is saying the they will honor it since it was all part of the Larry H Miller chain and he is still a district manager there. I am glad I had the manager brought into this when I was in there fuming . Still waiting to hear back where I take it for repair, another update coming.

We were there until after 7 p.m. and a not insubstantial chunk of that was waiting around. Their parking lot was also overstuffed with cars--not sure if they were all inventory or a combo of inventory and customers, but it was not really navigable. Had to park elsewhere and walk. That said, aside from the length of time, we had a pretty great experience with the team at Utah Used Cars. Matt was our salesman and did a great job answering questions and thoroughly explaining the process and options. Helen walked us through each piece of paperwork clearly and efficiently. Everyone was friendly and solicitous, offering water and snacks and even t-shirts. Long process but not complicated and we left with a reasonably priced car we're pleased with. Would recommend.
