Offer great adaptive activities, like horseback riding, rock climbing, biking, skiing.
I went alpine skiing with them on a trip through Utah. The process was a bit confusing. If it's your first time skiing with them, you need to ski at Park City, although they have other locations. There's a $10 yearly membership fee plus the registration fee. If you cancel, there's a fee if you don't do it within a certain time.
Finding the Park City ski location is tricky. They say it's by the ice rink but don't explain how to get there. In the parking lot, there is a half circle for buses. Facing the lodge with your back to the parking, the wheelchair accessible route is to take the sidewalk all the way to the left, pass the underground parking entrance, there's a path with an upward incline. Follow that path all the way until you see stairs. There's an elevator right as you make a right to the stairs. It's easy to miss. Take the elevator up one level, to P1 I think. Make a small right then a left, go away from the elevator and stores surrounding the ice rink. Follow that path straight and you will see a trailer with a wooden ramp. I went in the trailer to meet my instructor.
We stayed at the lodge. It was very wheelchair accessible. Dorm style rooms. Communal TV, kitchen, meal room, exercise room, and ice machine. read more
