Not very happy with the instruction so far at this place…read more 3 out of 5 teachers here that I've seen are slow, lazy, have an unpleasant attitude, end class early, are too busy chatting with each other, and generally just don't teach much at all. I've seen some in other classes that seem to be better, but my daughter has only had 1 or 2 good instructors sub in to her normal class (which has inconsistent teachers). They charge significantly more than other places, but the instruction just isn't there to justify the cost. Combined with their weird, irritating, and really just terrible billing policies, it's just an annoying headache to deal with them at all. The only good thing this place has going for it is how big the facility is. I guess that's why they charge so much (to be able to pay for the place); it certainly isn't due to the instructors' teaching abilities that's for sure. If you value your wallet, your sanity, and your child's gymnastics experience I highly suggest you look elsewhere.

Let me be the first to say that I am just not one of those people who are uber fit. I dislike most…read morephysical activities, (i.e., walking, running, aerobics, doing anything that requires moving my joints). That's not to say that I don't do physical activity, I just am typically not a fan. That being said, I could completely see Baile Dance making me want to be (and stay) physically active and fit. I recently went to a Zumba class, which turned out to be taught by one of my favorite instructors, Enrique (also instructs at BodyWise Fitness). While I'm not particularly good at Zumba (my hips actually do lie), I find it to be so much fun. Knowing how great of an instructor Enrique is, I'm sure that the other instructors are probably just as great as he is. This studio opened fairly recently, so the studio is gorgeous. The interior is bright and large with light hardwood, large mirrors, a good sound system, a clean bathroom, a beautiful chalkboard wall, and ample storage for your things. One of the things I like most about it being a dance studio is that if you're like me, you sign up for classes at the gym, but you don't go to the rest of the gym. I'd rather just pay for what I'm getting. Overall, I'd give this new studio a try, you won't regret it. Plus, maybe you'll actually like exercise (or at the least dance) when you do.

On August 7, 2025 at 4:39pm MT I emailed DF to discuss this email (see attached image) before…read moreposting reviews about them. No response. I emailed again on August 8, 2025 at 7:34pm MT. Still no response. However, they were quick to reply to my google review. They asked in the google review response to address my concern with them privately, which I did before even posting reviews and then again after, and they won't respond. They claim in their response to my google review that safety matters to them and yet when I addressed a safety concern, I was dismissed. I stopped going to DF back in July except for once a week for one hour to use up my paid pass. My friends have asked why I stopped going to DF and I told them the truth. Weeks later I am punished by DF for speaking my truth by being banned from their business, although I had already been slowly removing myself, just had to use up what I paid for because the policy they do have visible to the public is that there are no refunds on purchases. Earlier this year I reported to the DF owner and one of their instructors that I had been s**ually harassed by a dance student who admitted to his inappropriate behavior and apologized, in front of the dance instructor. I had an in person conversation with the studio owner and the dance instructor to address my concern of having to be paired with this person for about 2.5 months. The option I was presented was voluntarily quit dancing or suck it up. They also asked me not to talk about my concern with the team I was on, which I found really shady to make such a request. I obliged by not talking to those whom I was not close friends with. Per the DF team contract, if you voluntarily quit you don't get your money back. So I sucked it up and had the most miserable experience ever. The DF owner and the teacher were unwilling to switch partners, giving me excuses why they couldn't, yet when it came to an out of state performance they switched my partner those last few weeks, when this new partner could have been my partner from the time I addressed my concern. I found a new dance team and told my friends that once I used up all of my paid passes at DF I wasn't going to continue classes there. When they asked why, I told them the truth of my negative experiences with DF, the owner, and the instructor. After several months from the time I reported my s**ual harassment concern, today 8/8 I receive an email from the studio owner, telling me I am no longer welcome at the studio for classes, dance socials, events, etc. She claimed I violated her studio code of conduct. Not once did she ever approach me with any concerns prior to today. I have been going to DF on and off since 2010 and there has never been a visible code of conduct or studio participation rules in the studio, on their app, or on their website. The instructors have not discussed participation rules or studio conduct in any of the classes or teams I've been on. When I asked the owner to provide specifics on what I violated and when, she has not provided any insight as to what I'm accused of. When I asked for a copy of the studio's values and participation guidelines, she hasn't responded. I believe she is retaliating against me for voicing my experiences I've had at DF. I will refer people to the many other dance studio options available and I will not be referring anyone to DF.

You can pay online but I didn't bother with that since they ask to create an account. I just paid cash at the door ($12). The woman at the front seemed a bit flustered since she was the only one there. It would help if there's guidance for newbies (pay here/get wristband there, water bottles available, etc.). Once I got in, the first thing I looked for was a place to put my coat. There were a bunch by the entrance but I didn't want mine to get lost in the pile. Thankfully I found a coat hanger in a corner in the second room that worked well. The first room was the biggest and the main room. The DJs there played mostly sensual Bachata (wish they had played some traditional Dominican too). The second room was smaller and at first it was the Kizomba room but then it switched to the Salsa room. I wish the ventilation in this room was better. There was no air-flow whatsoever. Ended up spending most of my time by the only fan available. The Salsa song selection was on point! Lots of great classics and danceable songs. They offer a dance lesson before the social begins but I didn't make it in time. Around midnight, there was a special performance in the main room by a couple of instructors. Everyone gathered around to watch. It was an amazing Bachata show! Right after, they had the birthday dance, which is a tradition in many dance communities. Everyone lined up to dance with the birthday person. There were many great dancers and I had a blast! At one point the woman at the front got mad at me for walking through the curtain to go back to the front. I was looking for water bottles and didn't feel like elbowing everyone along the way since it was very crowded. It just seemed like an easy shortcut. She was very upset, which made me feel bad. There was a food truck with great options outside so I just ended up leaving.

Find your sexy: very sensual dances that make you wanna dance for your partner or in front of an audience. I really enjoy this class because there are some dance moves that you say "wow I can't do that" but by the end of the class you are doing that EXACT same dance move the instructor showed you! 5. Confident with joy (beginner): very high energy class and you always wanna bring the best version of yourself! You have such a workout without actually feeling that you're "working out" . At the end of the class there is a lot of emotion because you allow yourself to be vulnerable but it definitely gives you that boost you need. Overall, I've been going to these classes and I look FORWARD to go to class. Mel and Katie (2 of the owners) are usually present at all times and dancing/teaching you! The other instructors are sooo friendly and open with everyone and have such a positive attitude it gets addicting. We had been a part of a DANCE family that we absolutely loved. When we knew we would be moving from an hour away, switching dance studios was the hardest and saddest part of the whole decision to move. We didn't want to leave. We were happy and comfortable at our dance home for 9 years. ADA made the transition even smoother then I could even explain. The first day we walked in the director had told my girls that she understands that we are leaving our dance family of 9 years and everything they had ever known. She said she could not even imagine what they must feel in this situation. She then told them that she knows she can NEVER replace our old dance family but she hopes ADA can be added to our dance family, Everything we experienced with this studio is beyond all Expectations! The staff were also amazing. Everyone is always working with and helping each other. My oldest was told she wasn't the best at lyrical by her last studio and came back after the covid shut down she competed a lyrical solo and took an overall highpoint for lyrical. The director and owner do everything they can to make sure the girls aren't just the best dancers but to have the confidence that they need!!! When we asked her, she said she was still interested in dance but didn't want to go to this place anymore because the teacher was not nice. We pressed her some more and come to find out she like the class when the owner of the establishment was not there, but when the owner was there she would rather not dance at all. We made her stick it out because we had already paid the hefty fees for costumes (in the end never got to use these by the way) but we had to make her go. Then my daughter broke her arm and could no longer dance. We asked the owner to cancel our monthly payments as she was no longer able to participate. Despite this the fee still came out of our account. My wife tried many times to resolve this and get a refund for the fees we were overcharged but the owner always had an excuse as to why it did not happen. I finally went down there myself and confronted her about it and she (the owner) said that I was harassing her! I was simply asking for a refund for an overcharge. Not only that, but on their brochure (contract as they called it) they promised extra classes and a small discount for those parents that signed up for auto pay. Neither of these did we receive. In my opinion you should not waste your time or your money here. The owner is semi dishonest and my daughter now does not like dance!

She's curious, but a natural teacher. She pushes me while respecting where I am on my fitness journey. She lives her life very authentically and she emanates wonderful energy. She cares about everything and everyone, even the little insects that find their way into her space. (Seriously, she carries them out to safety, it's lovely.) I'd honestly give her 10 stars if it were an option. You won't regret becoming part of her community.
