Nathan's Tree Service, LLC are from the Halifax, Pa. Area. There is another Company locally called, I believe Nate's Tree Service, from the Steelton, Pa. They are not the same company!!. I only use Nathan' from Halifax!!!!!! I've been using Nathan's Tree Service, LLC for about a decade now. Nathan, his wife, and the crew have always exceeded my expectations. I thought it important to leave a review because most people seem to not put a review in if their satisfied but will invariably leave a negative review if one little thing isn't to their liking. I only use companies that I trust completely, are more than reasonably priced, are completely honest with me, and have the skill Set and needed to do the job. It's hard enough these days to find competensy in the trades. So if you need work done, these folks have always taken the best care of my property. For instance, just yesterday, they took a giant maple tree down that was three stories taller that my home, had grown out over my roof, and was only 10 feet from the house, 3 feet from the deck, bushes underneath the tree, a stone wall, and an aluminum fence that had to be navigated 10 feet from the tree as well. Btw, my home is 3 stories tall so now you might understand how massive this tree was. It takes an amazing level of experience to take a tree that tall and wide down, with all kinds of obstacles to deal with, and then remove it all from the property. I thought chopping , and or trimming trees was just chop chop here trim trim there. What I mean by that is that there are certain ways to trim trees and branches that I was unaware of. A tree or bush, thrives better when it's cut properly . I would've never guessed that there's a proper way. It explains why any bush I've tried to trim has not thrived , and looked like crap. Anyway getting to the point I really want to make, we have this beautiful huge pine tree by a pond but it was outgrowing its spot we were worried we would have to cut it down. Nathan said he could trim it. The tree turned out beautiful, and it fit in the area just perfect when he was done with it! I couldn't believe how even he made it! We were very thankful because we love that tree. He also helped us with our birch tree. Even the birds love the birch tree but it was looking worse and worse every year. So Nathan trimmed a few branches to take some of the heaviness off it and take some of the weaker branches off, and the tree by next summer look healthy again. So yes I give this company five stars he saved two of my favorite trees. So thank you Nathan! read more

I recently had the good fortune to choose Nathan's Tree Service to remove a huge wild cherry tree from my property. The tree posed a threat to our house roof on one side, and power, cable, and phone lines on the other side. Nathan arrived at our agreed upon time and began work immediately. As I watched Nathan and his crew work it was immediately obvious these guys are experts. They dismembered the tree like a giant jig saw puzzle. Each piece that posed a threat to the house or wires was carefully lowered and guided by ropes. The more I watched, the more my confidence grew that no harm would come to our house or the wires. This gave me peace of mind seeing that the job was being done right. As they worked, they cleaned up all the branches and stacked the cut up logs in neat piles. When the job was done the lawn was clean, and there was no damage even to the flowers and shrubs that were in harms way in the drop zone. These guys were fantastic. We had a few trees around our property that desperately needed to come down, with one being way too close to our house. There was also another tree that needed a good trim. We were able to get an estimate the same day we called, and Nathan's made time in their schedule to get the trees down lickety-split. Nate and his partner were perfectly mindful and conscientious about everything; the trees fell exactly where we wanted them, super quick, neat and clean, and the tree we had trimmed looks so happy and healthy, now! Nathan's Tree Service is the cream of the crop in the Halifax and surrounding areas. Nathan is always very professional and takes his job and safety very seriously. His crew in my opinion is the best in the area. If you need a tree or several trees removed Nathan is the one you want to call. His rates are very reasonable if not the best in the area.
