We had water damage in December and we are still cleaning up the mess they made. The work is horrible, excuses and delays are many AND they try to charge for work that is not completed. I have scheduled an appointment with a manger (Bill) to show him the subpar and incomplete work at our home. He did not call and did not show up. We rescheduled, he showed up, agreed with the poor quality of work, took pictures and agreed that some of the work that was charged was not done at all. He assured us there would be a quick resolution. That was in January. We finally asked gave up, found another repair company and asked Mellon Certified Restoration for a final invoice. They again tried to charge us for subpar work (that will need to be redone) AND for work they never did. I have sent 4 emails to management (Bill and Chris Bond) and have received no response. Emails were sent March 1, 6 and 9 2022. This company is a fraud! The website does not even include a Harrisburg location and I am looking into that and trying to identify who owns Mellon Certified Restoration of Harrisburg.

I was trying my best to get plumbers in my area to come out and fix the pipe ( they all advertised to have 24/7 service but I didn't receive one call back out of the 9 I contacted ). I called my insurance company, USAA. They had Mellon Restoration team here within 3 hours to begin extracting the small flood in the basement and setting up equipment to dry out and extract the water. Jeff stayed till 11:30 PM to make sure he had removed the carpet padding, furniture and other wet items before he left. Of course we had no water and now it is the 4th of July! No problem, Jeff was back here by 9:00 AM, with a contact for a plumber that really does respond 24/7. HB McClure. I will get to their stellar service in another review. I had water damage in the basement of a rental property I own that occurred in early July 2021. The company came out to assess the situation in a timely manner. After weeks of telling me they were doing work and setting dehumidifiers, it turned out they had been doing the work on a neighbors home and not at my property! Despite this egregious mistake on their behalf, I was understanding of their mistake under the assumption they would surely finish work on the unit they were contracted to do work on in a timely manner. On September 13th, I visited the property and nothing has been done. Their machines were left running in my basement for weeks, mold is growing in the carpets and the walls, and they will not return phone calls or even attempt to rectify the situation. Jason Roberts, the general manager has told me twice they will be out to the property and has clearly not shown up on either occasion. Dave the owner is lackluster and was not even aware that the work was not completed and seemingly had no idea they even made a mistake. Andy sent his crew over right away to start the water clean up (in the middle of the night) and personally came over several times AND checked in with me constantly. He bent over backwards for me and even called my insurance co several times trying to help fight my cause. He was able to get us set up with one of his technicians, Josh, who came out the next day. Communication from the top down (Phill & Josh) was excellent. Josh walked the area with me and explained what he would be doing. After confirming the issue he proceeded to seal off the area that he'd be working in and started working. After 2 days he cleaned up and I was ready to get in and put new Sheetrock up. I did find a little more while working on an area and contacted Josh who coordinated with Phill to stop by and check.
