Correction for my last post. This establishment took my mom from Tylenol to methadone, OxyContin,…read moreanti-anxiety, medication, and morphine. They were simply asked to help manage her pain for these horrific kidney stones. My mom was still up, moving around in her chair, but in severe pain and pretty weak from Pahrump health and rehab, starving her to death and leaving her in severe pain for over 3 days! So I requested they come in to help manage pain, but instead they came in and euthanized my mother within days. I do not recommend this establishment or this company. I will not stop until I get answers. They chose to ignore me instead of giving me answers so I will continue to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves like my mother. I walked into a room to find my mother's eyes wide open and her mouth wide open, gasping for air because of this incompetent business who has no clue what they are doing. My mom suffered a horrific death and I will not stop until you guys are held accountable!!!!

My wife who was suffering with pain from multiple…read moresurgeries (2 knee replacements and a revision, cervical and 2 lumbar) and declining Dementia took a serious downward turn on 3 July. We had been anticipating home hospice and the 4th of July weekend did not look to be a good time to start. I made the phone call anticipating a Voice Mail session. Surprise, Michelle answered and took relevant information. On the Friday Holiday 4th of July I received a call from Harmony liaison Joe Trujillo - he did a DocuSign via email for legal documents. On Saturday the July the 5th Nurse Mia arrived to complete the intake. On Sunday July 6th Nurse Mia did a follow-up visit. This all happened so rapidly and on a big Holiday weekend. There was a following cascade of RN's, CNA, Social worker and religious support. The care and compassion that was delivered was superb. Many many thanks to our dedicated care giving team- Joe, Michelle, Mia, Nicole, Christine and Reverend Solomon who were with us to our dear wife and mother's passing. Watching a loved one's demise with dreaded Dementia is nothing short of agonizing and Team Harmony surely helped relieve some of the burden. Thanks again and a very Well Done!

Lilybeth's organization of Specialists came in and cared for my father in his dying days, with compassion, expertise, and Grace. Alayna provided the utmost gentile ministration. They would clean my father and then massage these amazing oils into his hands, feet, and body. One night my father took a turn for the worse and I was crying and called Lilybeth for help and she responded with, "I will be right there!" and she was! Each aspect of this organization is tailored to your needs. They all work together: the RN's, Lilybeth, the daily caregiving and the ministers who come to minister to any faith. Their wholistic approach left no gaps. And on they day my father passed, Lilybeth's organization worked together from cleaning and preparing him, to organizing the mortuary. I simply had to love my father in his last days and grieve; they did everything else. I'm so grateful for Wings of Hope, Lilybeth, Alayna and the entire team. Caring for a loved one in your home is an all hands on deck sort of situation (depending on the needs of your loved one). In our case it was anyways, and there were some aspects of caregiving that were beyond our capabilities. We met with a representative and discussed needs and expectations, what they could and could not do and they matched us with a couple caregivers who were absolute angels on earth. The time they spent in our home was MORE than appreciated and worth EVERY PENNY. Our loved one looked forward to her visits with Michelle or Mickie each week, and the companionship and expertise that they showed her (and us) was undlessly appreciated. I can not thank them enough, and can't tell you, if you are starting your journey caring for a loved one, get help. It does take a village and comfort keepers can be part of that village.

Oh Jennifer is such a blessing. I can not put into words the extraordinary value of your her work…read more Her role of assisting me through my recent loss (and unexpectedly, losses of my past) will never be forgotten. She has patiently worked with me while having a flexible schedule, no judgement, compassion, and kindness. I also love that we could work together in the comfort of my own home. Every meeting brings up new things that I am emotionally working through. I felt extremely comfortable with her every step of the way. She understands loss and the process of grief, though different for everyone she makes space to understand yours. She helps explore your emotional grief patterns and assists by showing tools that can help you more deeply understand your own needs and responses. Grief is such a deep challenging emotional ride. It was leading me into a lot of confusion and difficulties in my daily tasks. I waited 6 months after the loss of my mother to even google search grief therapy. I called Jennifer on a whim during a time that I felt most lost and had no belief that I could ever live a "normal" life again after experiencing such a huge loss at my young age. I didn't know what I was expecting from her work. She called me back right away and there was something in her voice that led me to continue forward and meet with her. Every moment she was around I felt so understood and less burdened. Each meeting became less upsetting and more joyful for me. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else. I have regained control of myself and my happiness with just a little helpful understanding from this amazing woman. On top of everything else, she has given me the gift of being present and understanding to others in my life that may be experiencing challenges of their own. There is a great respect built into me for others and their journey through life's emotional paths.

Personally, I've always been hesitant to receive or ask for help. This is due to the overall lack of progress following years of therapy and dredging up my past - only to be left with the pain again and nearly as ill equipped as when I began. I knew full well going into Grief Recovery that I'd have to face a plethora of heartache all over again, which was was terrifying. That being said, swallowing my pride (and prejudice toward "recovery" in general), was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm not going to sugar coat it, this is hard work. Be prepared to dig deep. Be ready to learn about yourself and your experiences. Most of all, brace yourself for a genuinely supportive and empathetic environment, and being shown the utmost compassion. I never would've imagined that those eight weeks could have such lasting improvements in my memory of all things, but also a renewed and far more relatable understanding of grief itself. I practice what I've learned every day, which has benefited every aspect of my life. Whatever losses bring you here, whether it be the death of loved ones or divorce, just the overwhelming sense of validity and comfort is worth it. Trust doesn't come easily to me, but was well earned throughout my experience with Grief Recovery and with Jennifer, who without a doubt is destined to change so many more lives like mine. I'm forever grateful and again, can confidently say this was one of the most rewarding decisions I've ever made.
