The employees wisely don't put up with any attitude and ill behavior; if you show them respect you'll get respect in return. I can't really comment on the food because I left first thing in the morning and didn't come back until the evening. If I have a complaint, it's that lights-out isn't until 11:00p, which is kinda late when you're tired and want to get some shut-eye sooner. Overall, the best shelter I've been to -- no druggies or drunks allowed, and that's A-OK in my book!

I completed the questionnaire on a touch tablet, got my pre-check work done, and was in the chair quickly. The nice young lady who hooked me up made pleasant conversation throughout the donation, which was actually faster than the questionnaire and "paperless paperwork." Once my bag was done, it was given the green light to help myself to a well-stocked frig and kitchenette of drinks and snacks while I sat for a few minutes of "observation." Even got a coupon for a free Wendy's slushee. Winning. A couple weeks later, I received my donor card in the mail, which was a nice touch. In short, I would totally bleed here again, and all healthy individuals should too-- Professional and kind staff, clean and comfortable facility, and only about 1,800 miles from my home. I had my sister play the bagpipes during the wedding party's grand entrance. Hardly conventional, but Travis and Missy rolled with it. We had also planned to do a bouquet toss, but at the last minute I couldn't find my bouquet so Travis and Missy cancelled it. They were also great at reading the crowd and keeping everyone engaged. They played some slower songs and polkas for the older couples, and kept my cousins on the dance floor until the end of the evening. They even brought little giveaways like inflatable guitars that were a hit with the kids. They were on time and got everything set up without any hassle. They acted as MCs and made all the announcements. They always checked with me to make sure they were pronouncing everyone's name right, had the right order of events, knew who was giving speeches, etc. Overall, they were great to work with, and I would definitely hire them for another event.
