DONT PAY OVERPRICED RBB OR BERGSTROM!! support your small local bussiness ! I've used multiple electrical contractors in the last few years, and ROYAL is now my go to! It may be wise to get a quote before scheduling with Right Choice. We needed a new GFCI in our…read moregarage and to pull the wires for our hot tub that had previously been wired. We were a bit shocked when we got the bill for almost $1000!! I guess labor cost quite a bit. They said 2 electricians are an OSHA requirement. OSHA requires 2 electricians for jobs over 600v. Our hot tub is 220v. They also charged us $170/hour for the time it took them to drive to and return from their office to get parts they didn't have on hand. Brilliant business model, but not great for the customers. After they weren't able to get the hot tub started, they said the problem was with the hot tub, which isn't something they deal with. After getting a spa technician out and ordering unnecessary parts as we assured the tech the electrical couldn't be the problem, we found out the electrical from the circuit breaker hadn't been configured correctly. Luckily, it was an easy fix but cost us extra time and money for things we never needed to begin with. On a positive note, the electricians were very nice. Take positive reviews with a grain of salt for this company, though, as the boss looks out for social media reviews closely, and I suspect they are not all genuine.

I understand it is a business and they need to earn their bread. However, I do not consider it fair to charge one hundred dollars for a field worker to come to our home, test the voltage, and leave after five minutes of work. How much is that worth? I do not know exactly. It is certainly worth something for his trouble of coming here and doing those five minutes of work. But I also do know it should not be one hundred dollars. Well, their manager refused to consider my plight and told me this is how things are done in their field. I have dealt with electricians and handymen before who were willing to look at the situation from the customer's point, assess what is fair, and knew how to meet the customer halfway, not only with regards to payment, but certainly including that, as well. This business insists on doing it their way. Alright, then... They get their hundred dollars, but also this review... Customer beware.
