They have elevators and disabled parking. Having said that let's get to my experience with Nicole. I had called first and asked for somebody that was familiar with biracial hair and they recommended Nicole. Everybody was very lovely, but Nicole was absolutely awesome. She is incredibly funny and very, very talented with curly hair! She did a phenomenal job, understanding my hair and cutting it accordingly. I absolutely love my curls. She cut my hair in a way where they are popping out, but look really luscious. I used to go to Milwaukee for haircuts and now I am ecstatic that I have somebody as talented as Nicole very close by.

Her appointment was at 2 pm and my Husband arrived with her at 2:07 pm. They refused to see my young daughter through no fault of her own and without any advance notice of said policy. Had we known, I may have risked taking my daughter myself instead of requesting help from my Husband. I wanted to inform other customers in case they potentially run into an emergency that may make them "5 minutes late" as we were not extended that courtesy. We were simply and quite unfortunately turned away. Although, I do believe my Husband and daughter were discriminated against as I do not see this "policy" listed anywhere. If it is, in fact, a true policy, I would recommend the salon make their customers and potential customers aware in advance as the only heads up we have ever received was their policy on 12 hour cancellation.

The owner Chris first off took over a week to respond back to my complaint about my credit card charges. Instead of him asking me what happened he listened to whatever his receptionist told him when I talk to her on the phone. Mind you this was not the person that I had engaged with on the 10th. Saying that I paid with a card and that I changed my mind to use the gift card which was a lie. Chris said he cannot refund me my card because of a new system that was installed. He proceeds to tell me to call my credit union and dispute the charges. I called my credit union and explained the situation. They said that it doesn't work like that. I reach back out to Chris and he has not responded back. I have yet to receive my refund till this day. I'm putting this review on all platform. That being said, for $22 I would expect a few things more. Let me tell you what I didn't get for that price, that I definitely get at other places. My stylist's name to begin with, a Shampoo, asked how I want my neck line cut, asked about my sideburns, asked about my eyebrows, a razor cut on my neck, positive attitude and conversation, and longer than 5 minutes in the chair. Oh, and how much I would like off the top before you start cutting. Those are the things you get at a decent hair salon. Now I know why this location was only a 20 minute wait, when every where else was over 90 minutes. Lower your prices, you're not giving out $22 worth of service, more like $10. Not coming back, and not recommending. 2 stars only for the wait time and ease of my hair style to cut.

I don't know how, but she remembers the little details that matter about her clients, which includes how long it takes for one's hair to process, how our hair turns out with certain toners, our hair textures. She's always pleasant to talk to. She researches the products she uses and always wants what's best for her clients. I love that she uses hair dye with the least damaging ingredients - many of the products are organic. She is very honest as well - If she thinks a certain treatment might not be beneficial, she will let you know and offer advice on what will work better.
