Initially, we had no clue what we were doing and asked tons of questions which were all thoroughly and thoughtfully answered. We were beyond blessed to have these people walk us through the process. We were really happy with the relative ease of home-buying compared to so many nightmares we'd read about. Bottom line is this: From the inspector, to the insurance agency to the lenders and title companies, EVERYONE knew who my Realtors were. People at each of these businesses couldn't stop raving about the experience and genuine care these people bring to the table. That said so much about the respect people in the industry have for Violet Crown Realty. They are awesome people too. You can have easy going conversations with them and they will give you honest advice. We didn't know ANYTHING going in to this. A month later and no extra stress, we have our home. We'll def keep in touch with them and would highly recommend them to anyone. Classy folks.

I generally don't use Yelp for that purpose but on a whim, I opted to check out the reviews. I found several who looked promising and contacted all three. Through telephone/email interviews I narrowed my choice to Joanne. So glad that I did as we only had 2 days to find a house and Joanne and William worked tirelessly the entire weekend. In fact, it was a game day on Saturday and that's a big deal in Texas, but they chose to still work with us. They showed us properties in north, south and central as my sister wasn't familiar with the area and wanted to review all options. It was a successful weekend as she bought a house and even secured a short closing just before the Thanksgiving holiday. Being a realtor I am picky myself, so rest assured you will be in competant hands with the Violet Crown Realty team.

Side note: After staging, I considered keeping the house as an Airbnb, but the price was too good.

In fact, after working with about 6 realtors in other transactions, I would definitively say he was the absolute best! Truly a gem. I will recommend him to friends and family for a long time!

Reed and Regina are the best!…read more While searching for a house, my girlfriend and I worked with several realtors who were eager to show us anything -- and sell us anything as fast as possible. Reed and Regina took their time to understand what we wanted, and then went above and beyond. Checking water pressure, looking for signs of water damage, looking at the AC and laundry units? All par of the course. Throughout the entire process, both would offer us their unfiltered opinions and help us see things we weren't even looking for. These guys are just amazing, and we couldn't have been happier to have found them. Sunny Day Real Estate for the win!

He was professional while laid back and has a passion for what he does. We have referred everyone to him we possibly can. My wifend I built a home and ended up having issues with our builder. We started working with Reed in March of 2012 and closed September 2014. My wife and I built a home and ended up having issues with our builder. Reed worked tirelessly on contracts, helped us pick out finish outs to stay in budget, helped us work with financing and basically just held our hands through the whole thing. If we had a question, we received a response that was thorough and prompt. He had patience and focus and that is the only reason we ever got in our home. One of the most impressive moments was when we randomly came to the build and found Reed in the tree well digging out dirt with a pick axe and shovel so we could meet the tree inspection deadline. The builder was dragging his feet and Reed decided he could get it done. It was August and miserable and he was moving bucketloads of dirt out so we could close. We will always count Reed a friend and can't thank him enough for his help. Reed is a rockstar and if you are a friend of mine, chances are I have told you that already. Reed and Regina just recently helped my wife's mother get a home and had a wonderful experience. They have been there every step and have helped make the experience enjoyable.

How do mortgages work? Isaiah not only gave us a crash course over the course of a few weeks, but helped us manage expectations and kept us organized so we could find a home by the time our first child was born. We ended up closing our home three weeks before my daughter was born. We moved into a home that worked for our family--close to UT, all one story, good bones that would allow for a strong foundation for renovations, huge yard, lots of square footage, and, not to mention great neighbors. During the process, Isaiah fought for us all the way. For example, we ended up in what could potentially have been a bidding war with another family, but Isaiah helped us figure out a price that would ward off a potential bidding war while working within our budget. Though it didn't feel like it at the time, when we look at comps and other metrics, we got a total deal on our home. After inspecting the home, Isaiah also helped us negotiate our bid price down so we could address issues with the HVAC system immediately. Other realtors will talk to you, then send you a database of MLS postings that match your square footage and pricing criteria. Then they make you do the work to select homes from viewing listings and pictures online. When you seem interested in a home, you ping them and tell them you want to see a home. It's a really passive process. Isaiah worked hard to figure out our tastes and needs. He actively sought to show us homes so we could make the cost tradeoffs we needed. With my busy work schedule and the stress of third-trimester pregnancy, the last thing I wanted to do was sit and view MLS postings all day. In the end, we settled on the home we wanted without having to view a hundred homes. I couldn't have asked for a smoother first time home-buying experience. Thank you, Isaiah, for everything!
