My only complaint would be with CNY Cardiology for being dismissive of their patients who see him and scheduling patients with another dr. without consulting them. My husband has a long and complicated medical history. We are at the mercy of the drs overseeing his care and it took YEARS to adjust the delicate balance of his medications so one med did not have consequences on other medical issues. With respect to the other drs there,one simple change can and HAS triggered a series of medical consequences for him. Imagine how "happy" I was when after several medical emergencies, I arrived with my husband to find out that the appointment I gave up so my husband could see dr. sooner was switched to another dr without consulting me first. Give the powers that be are not familiar with personal medical histories/concerns/preferences that seemed disrespect of our RIGHT to make that choice and given that it is by administration rather than a trained medical professional, be aware that such actions could be have ramifications on them as well as the people they serve. I made it clear if it happens again, I will leave and reschedule.

He did a thorough exam and diagnosed me with hypermobile joints super quickly, then asked me questions about other aspects of my health that I didn't even realize were connected until I looked up HSD later. His staff have always been very kind and supportive to me, and it really makes a difference knowing exactly what's wrong so that I can have the right treatment. Also, side note, I think it's WILD that people rate the doctor based on the attitudes of his receptionists. It's not like he's instructing them to be rude - that would be crazy - and he can't micromanage every interaction. Get a grip.

I had issues with my thyroid since 2013, and I needed to see a new endocrinologist because my last retired and he was highly recommended by my doctor. I went in to have a needle aspiration done. I had new labs, and I also had a new sonogram of my thyroid. He suggested that I wait six months and repeat the sonogram because it was a new technician that he had sent me to, and he wanted something to compare it to, like the one before it done only a month before wasn't adequate, Life got busy and I was unable to keep my six-month appointment, and I did it shortly thereafter, along with new lab works. Yes, I did have a new problem. I had swelling in the right side of my neck, which they didn't know if it was my thyroid or lymph nodes because I was ill. So I made an appointment with the doctor farkouh to go over the new test results and have a needle aspiration done, which was what I went to him in the first place. He was pissed because my GP had set me for the labs and the new ultrasound. He would not discuss any treatment with me, told me that I needed be seen ENT and have my thyroid removed, which is a crock of crap when he didn't even do a physical examination on my throat and didn't look at my test results!!! He was very argumentative when I asked questions, totally different doctor than I seen the first time. I would not recommend him to touch even my cat!!!
