FANTASTIC & DELICIOUS! 10/10 would recommend. The season the hell out of their food and the fish is cooked to perfection. Everything was soooo good, especially the sliders!! Thank you!

I found out about Nashfin from food reviewer, Jack. He had a good ol' spicy experience at Nashfin so I wanted to try my hand at it. I wasn't in the mood for a sandwich so I got their 3pc hot fish w/ fries. For my spice level, I got two "medium" and one "extra hot". The spice, seasoning and fry on the fish were damn good. The cajun aioli was great and the spiced fries were amazing. Add the special peppers on the side, and I had a top notch experience. Honestly I enjoyed it so much I went back the next weekend. If you're in the Echo Park area, you should definitely try out this spot. Customer service was also on point.

By far the best cod in LA and maybe best I've had. It is so fresh, flavorful, and moist. The fries are amazing and their sauces are to die for. Also ordered the lavender lemonade and also amazing. I will 100% be adding this to my rotation.

We got to be here for their very first day of operation, since we live close by and we're on a walk in the neighborhood. And it was delicious! We had the Split Fin, which was a fish slider and fish fillet with a side of fries. All three were good but the definite star of the show was the slider. It tastes like what you wish a McDonald's filet-O-Fish would taste like, and has a little bit of heat. We also got to try all of the pickles, and really loved the chili pops (yellow peppers) - we thought next time it would be fun to put those in the sandwich. There's some seating outside but you can also take orders to go. I'll definitely be back!

Hot fish slider, Mac and fries. I also have a lavender lemonade not in the photo. Everything was delicious!

Food was delicious. My favorite new fish spot! I ordered the hot fish sandwich on toasted bread, Mac n cheese, fries, and a lavender lemonade. Everything was good and hot,

Tried it for the first time and we were seriously impressed. We ordered the Deep Dive and the Hook Up, and both were absolutely delicious. The sandwiches were super flavorful but didn't feel heavy at all. The sauces had a unique flavor too. I was expecting typical fried seafood, but everything tasted really fresh and light. Also--those sour grape pickles? So good. I've never had anything like them before. They were tangy, a little sweet, and added this awesome punch to the meal. Really cool spot, friendly staff, and unique flavors you don't find everywhere. We'll definitely be back!

Came at 7:30 PM on a Thursday to no line. Food, service, and dessert were amazing. Tried all three sauces with the fish and fries - everything was top notch. I've never had food truck service be so attentive. They checked on us multiple times and served the dessert after we finished the fish so it was nice and warm. 10/10

If I could give them a 10, I would! We'd been hunting for them since seeing them on IG, and after reading all the great reviews, we made the drive from Upland. The Sunset spot was closed since they were at the 101 Night Market--so we kept going, determined to try it! Found their truck easily, free parking, less than a 20min wait. The man on the truck (I think the owner) greeted us kindly, and the woman taking orders was super sweet. We got the Deep Dive with the hotness at Reel Burn, fries, and lemonade. The fries were seasoned just right and perfectly crisp. But that first bite of the sandwich... BLEW MY MIND--flavor, seasoning, and heat all perfection. You can tell they cook with care and intention. Drove back home full, satisfied, and so happy. Thanks, Nashfin! I'm a fan. K

New and Amazing concept of Nashville hot fish, the fish sandwiches tastes fantastic and full of flavor, it was super light even though it's fried. The staff are super friendly, nice and professional. Great location with a lot of space for parking.

We've tried the Ian Glass (added protein) and the Larry Mantle, and a friend got the Terry Gross. We've also tried the sides Mr. Beans and the Aloha Pasta Salat. Everything has been so good and so fresh! My fav is the Ian Glass by far! It was so good and so filling. The price is pretty fair for a solid sandwich with good ingredients. Service is quick and easy, no frills. You stand in line, order, and then wait. You cannot and should not go back in line to check on the status of your order. When they're ready for you, you'll know. There are a few tables outside, so grab a seat and enjoy your sandwich! Tip: order online for pick up if you're short on time! But if you're really short on time, this probably isn't the place to go for you. Since we've biked here, I don't have any experience with street parking, but since it's in a residential area, it always looks full. So be aware of street parking! Out server Emily was a delight. So friendly and accommodating (and thanks again for the Baklava!) We had the lamb shwarma plate and the fried chicken plate, both with hummus. Also a side of the Za'atar/sumac fries. Fries came out first PIPING hot, crispy, seasoned perfectly nom nom. The entrees quickly followed. The lamb was so tender and juicy and bursting with flavor. And the fried chicken was AMAZING. Shwarma that is breaded with an amazing mixture and fried. Genius! The plates also came with hummus topped with whole chickpeas (YUM), dilled rice, a cabbage salad and other greens, grilled pita bread, olives and my personal favorite, pickled radishes. Many reviews describe them as beets (which I also love) but these are radishes and they pair so well with the rich meat. An umami bomb! Portions HUGE (we have a full meal waiting in the fridge) and prices very reasonable. Patio is a very fun hang with pretty lights. My only knock is on the chairs which are not exactly "comfy." But that's a trivial issue. Service was attentive and staff so friendly and helpful. I can't remember Emily's colleague's name but shout out to her and her Rasputin's shirt (yay Berkeley vibes.) She was great. We will definitely be back at Dune soon!

Could be because it was Sunday and there was a Farmers Market nearby, but still something to consider. We ordered the Lamb Plate ($26). Portion was solid and the plate is actually pretty interesting -- lots of different sides (flatbread, greens, olives, pickled turnips, etc.), so it doesn't feel boring. That said, the lamb itself was just a few small pieces and it was ground. I would've preferred more actual meat Tried the rosemary lemonade too, but didn't really taste any rosemary. Just a regular lemonade, slightly sweet and sour. Also you pay upfront right after ordering. We sat outside on a small patio facing Glendale Blvd. It's a tight space, and at one point someone from the street was walking around nearby talking to themselves, which made the experience a bit less comfortable. Staff was friendly and service was quick though, no issues there. Also, no public restroom, so keep that in mind. Overall, not bad. I was hungry, so I finished everything pretty fast, but it didn't really stand out enough for me to make a special trip again.

It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again.
