Good tacos, but not what it used to be…read more Went for some after drinks tacos. It's been several years since I've been, but I remembered how amazing the al pastor tacos were here. Ordered a few of them and some carne asada. Unfortunately, it seemed like the al pastor was lacking in flavor and was a bit too lean and dry. The carne asada came out better. Not sure if it was an off-day, but was not how I remembered it when I used to go all the time before covid. May give it another shot at some point.

This one has corn tortilla. It's ok it was alright tasting. Park either on the street or a do a quick park at Vons but be careful they may tow your car.

I got the aguachile negro, a fish al pastor taco, and a soft shell crab taco. She wasn't kidding - the aguachile was fantastic although I will have to go mild next time. The tacos had really great flavors and textures. A truly wonderful meal. I would say this place is a hidden gem but honestly, it's front and center in a very busy part of a very busy area. Really love this truck and want to come back soon.

Line can get long but it moves fast. Prices are fair for LA and portions are good. You're basically standing and eating on the curb, but that's part of the taco truck experience. Giving 4 out of 5 because it's still a taco truck, not the cleanest setup and no real seating, but the food is consistent and always hits the spot. I keep coming back.

Nashfin has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The food is incredible, and the fish sandwich alone is worth the trip. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, and seasoned so well that every bite is packed with flavor. The Cajun seasoning here is on another level--bold, flavorful, and balanced perfectly. You get that mix of savory, salty, a little sweetness, and that rich umami flavor that keeps you coming back for more. And the mac and cheese? Absolutely ridiculous. Easily a 10/10. I've caught myself drinking the sauce... What really sets this place apart, though, is the owners. You can tell this isn't just a business to them. The fabulous duo are some of the kindest people you'll meet, and it's obvious they're passionate about both the food and taking care of their customers. They genuinely seem to love what they do, and that comes through in every interaction and every plate that comes out of the kitchen. Great food is one thing, but great food paired with people who truly care makes all the difference. If I could eat here every day, I probably would. I swung by Nashfin's food truck at 2515 W Sunset Blvd in Echo Park after a friend insisted I had to try it, even though I don't eat cooked fish. Let me just say--mind blown! The vibe at this spot is pure LA, with a lively crowd and that food truck energy that makes you feel like you're in on something special. The staff was super welcoming, quick with suggestions, and clearly love what they do. I went for the sliders, and wow, I polished them off in record time! They were crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor--my friend was right, these are next-level. The lavender lemonade was a total standout, freshly squeezed with a perfect floral-tart balance that's honestly the best I've had in LA. And the pistachio donuts? Unreal. Crispy outside, fluffy and nutty inside, with just the right touch of glaze--I could've eaten a dozen. Everything's made fresh to order, from the wild-caught cod to the scratch-made sides, and you can taste the care in every bite. Super friendly ppl, cool to joke around with, they do get busy though but the wait is extremely reasonable, which i would love to wait 10 mins for some good quality fresh food not microwaved crap they serve other places. Their homemade sauces and that lavender homemade lemonade hits the spot! And they have those donut like dessert, (drool). Oh they Also offered to taste their mac and cheese... OMG I ordered large size to go! Seriously rare find of Nashville in LA. it was fun to hangout there too. Cute seating arrangement W fire and string lights. This place is the Howlin Ray's for Nashville Hot Fish. Gary, is a genius! The spiced fish sandwiches were a masterpiece of blended flavors that left my dining partner and I repeating the same mantra...."Wow." The fries, which take over seven hours to make, were some of the best seasoned fries of all time. Adidas created their own set of Howlin Ray's shoes. Gary should be prepared for his. Best fish sandwich I have had in along time. Was driving on Sunset Blvd with my wife and kids debating what to have for dinner. Luckily, we came across Nashfin. It was very easy to park since they have a large parking spot, a few tables and chairs to enjoy your meal rather than standing, and the food was beyond great. The chicken sandwich really may have been the best I've ever had, which makes the whole experience even more disappointing. Great food, friendly people, but a 35-minute wait for a chicken sandwich in an almost empty restaurant is enough to keep me from going back.

Walking in you are greeted with golden brown baked patties, immediately putting the goodness on display. I've had Caribbean patties before, most of them fried because I grew up in the south, but a friend's mom from childhood would fresh bake them for us and I had missed that for so long. These patties reminded me of that and I had a Ratatouille flashback moment with it. I don't exactly remember what was in the patty, but it was the fall medley, and it was warm, cozy, and so pleasant. The lady at the front of house asked me what I thought and I could tell she really cared about the fact that I enjoyed it. About 10 minutes later the roti came out (and I think waiting for it made the experience even better), and my goodness every single bite was just fantastic. I spent around $30 in total (including tip) and I think that was a complete steal for the experience I had. I'm definitely coming back so I can try the jerk cucumbers and the channa doubles. LOBSTER ROLL (5oz) / aka The Popular (Signature Buttered Lobster Roll with 100% Fresh Maine lobster. Served with chips and House Cole Slaw and side of Garlic Mayo) Been craving lobster rolls after watching too many Connecticut and Maine lobster roll reviews on Youtube. Read some good reviews on Royal Lobster, so had to come by today. There's a limited amount daily, so I've decided to save some time and order online. Got the 5oz lobster roll, as I've read that their regular (3.5oz) lobster roll was too small. So glad I did! The lobster roll was filled with fresh, tender, moist, not overcooked, briny lobster meat. The brioche was toasted with butter, warm and lightly crispy. However, the lobster was served chilled with warm butter on the side. This was more closer to a Maine-style lobster roll, yet no mayo was added. It seems they did not prefer what style of lobster roll to serve, as neither Maine nor Connecticut style was specified. Given they gave you a side of mayo, I think they left it to the customer to choose. Nonetheless this was delicious! So satisfying! If you're craving for a lobster roll, this place will not disappoint! Came with sides of freshly fried kettle chips, which were lightly salted, deliciously crispy and crunchy. A small container of warm melted butter, a slice of lemon, a side of cole slaw and a side of garlic mayo. The garlic mayo tasted more like paprika seasoned mayo with a squeeze of lemon. Scanning the options, I ordered a mushroom cheesesteak/ fries combo with a special $2 Modelo. The Philly sandos are the "bullet" type, thin and long. In about 10 minutes, the food was ready! The Mushroom Philly sando & fries were nice and piping hot! I had to take small bites to gingerly eat, using the Modelo to cool off the food. They were ono-licious! Total with tax and tip was about $25. From start to finish- looking, ordering, waiting, and eating- it took less than 30 minutes. Nice and efficient, I was soon off to my next errand! Boo's Philly Cheesesteaks was a great lunch stop, one to repeat when my travels bring me back to Koreatown! Repeat and recommend!
