During a time of family grieving they provide a full turn-key service and really relieve much of the burden that a funeral brings to a family. Full funeral service including cemetery coordination and headstone selection where applicable are provided and assistance on the post funeral gathering for family and friends including location and meal coordination. Very conveniently our family was able to pay for the majority of the expensives with one check to the Mortuary. Tom and his staff have been very professional and reasonable. Body prep and casket selection could not have gone any better. All three funerals were open casket. They assist with obituary prep and posting in local newspapers and broadcasting notification of funeral services on the local radio. We also want to express on very very sincere thanks to Sherry who coordinated our first two funerals, she is a consummate professional wrt to funeral prep and activity planning. Other mortuary's we deal with in the future, outside of Wisconsin, will have a very difficult time living up to this high standard set by Burnham-Ours Funeral Home here in Chetek Wisconsin. Dealing with the death of a parent is hard enough, then add in a world pandemic, and you have total disbelief in what is happening. We were referred to Nimsgern Funeral services by a nurse who was caring for my Mom. Jamie, from the funeral home, came right to our Mom's house And with compassion and patience, walked my sister and I through all that we would need to do to lay our Mom to rest. Though we weren't able to give our Mom the funeral service that we would liked to have given her, because of the pandemic circumstances, Jamie did help us to give our Mom the best care and respect that she deserved. Though we could not have a public funeral for our Mom in their funeral home, we did go there to make the final arrangements for our Mom, and the building and facilities that they offer are very nice. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. A very nice facility to hold a funeral.

You'll need to take Devney Drive rather than N Hillcrest. The facility was clean, bright and the layout was practical. There are a couple of bathrooms and a nice outdoor area. Matt and the entire staff was so very supportive and took care of everything. It was a pretty seamless process. All of the AV worked great for the photos, snacks and coffee looked fine as well. I'd recommend them if you're in need of a venue for a celebration of life.
