Returned for dinner after hiatus. Service was good and not overly clingy. Chicken Frances was excellent, personal pizza was likewise good bread was fresh and crunchy dipping oil bland, wine buy the glass a little pricy, salad pretty common slightly wilted lettuce. Seated in one of the little 4top rooms with a table that's too small for the room. All in all not a bad experience, but certainly not special. read more

went with a group of sixteen people. seated promptly ... restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived. our server was very good. drink orders were taken with crunchy bread and olive oil arriving shortly. salads were good. main courses were average to below average. i had chicken marsala. meal arrived warm and the chicken was tough to cut. the person next to me had a veal dish and said the veal was tough to cut. after the meal i polled the people around me on a scale of 1-5 how was your meal ... the average was 2.7. several people took leftovers home. i noticed that the person next to me on, the other side, had a lot of her meal left. i asked if she wanted a take home box. she said the sauce tasted burnt and didn't want to take it with her. arriving home, i had an upset stomach. was it the food? can't say for sure but it was the only thinh that i had eaten. for what the meal was ... slightly pricy. sad to say ... i will not return. read more

I had the lasagna. I did not like the flavor at all. It was a very small serving for the price. My husband had the pizza. The green peppers were so I ercooked and limp on top of the pizza cheese. It was like they were prepared for other dishes and just lumped (not spread) on top of the pizza. Our son in law had the trio which was lasagna, cheese ravioli & chicken parm. It had a creamy sauce and he said it was pretty good but he also got sick about an hour later. (? Not sure why) Our daughter had the pasta with Bolognese and did not like it at all. One word! YUK! Service was very slow for Friday and not many customers. That should've been our clue. First, the salad dressing was very weak and nowhere near what it used to be. The pasta that was included with our meal was inedible. It was tough, dry, and no sauce. They were four of us and none of us could eat the pasta. Held Hostage at Napolinos HIGHLIGHTS: When you keep someone's property, block their only exit, and refuse to let them leave while yelling at them, that's being held hostage in every practical sense. This was, without question, the worst restaurant experiences we've had in over 20 years working in the hospitality industry. We visited Napolinos on July 9 around 7:00 PM to celebrate my fiancée accepting a new position. We were genuinely excited to try the restaurant for the first time. To be fair, the evening actually started well. Jenny greeted us warmly, explained the menu thoroughly, and checked on our table. Our food came out cold, but the restaurant was packed, so we understood. My fiancée's entrée was also prepared incorrectly, but it was corrected without issue. Up until then, we had no complaints. Everything changed when I politely explained that the Francaise simply wasn't for me. Reference Carrie B. review same dish same problem. Instead of offering another entrée or bringing me a menu, Jenny seemed to take my opinion of the dish personally. Rather than treating it like a routine customer service issue, she repeatedly tried to convince me that I was wrong for not liking it, telling me that everyone else liked it and saying, "So the problem is you, not the dish." In my opinion, what was served did not match the description of the dish we ordered. A simple, "No problem, let's find you something else," would have ended the entire situation. Instead, the conversation became increasingly defensive and confrontational. She raised her voice, swore at us in front of other guests, repeatedly referred to us as "you people," and continued arguing rather than trying to resolve the issue. That phrase honestly confused us, since all three of us were white, my fiancé and I plus the Manager. It felt like she was simply trying to get under our skin. When asking about the owner she said, "If you want to speak to the owner, she'll be here Monday--but I'll be here too." The comment came across as confrontational and almost threatening. I replied, "Why do you think it's appropriate to speak to a customer like that?" Instead of de-escalating the situation, the confrontation continued. The most concerning part came when she had my debit card while simultaneously telling us to leave. I repeatedly asked her to either run my card or hand it back so we could leave. Instead, she continued arguing while standing in the way of our booth exit. We weren't refusing to pay--we were asking to pay so we could leave. She then decided not to charge us at all, copied my name from my debit card, continued blocking our exit while I repeatedly asked to leave, when you keep someone's property, block their only exit, and refuse to let them leave while yelling at them, that's being held hostage in every practical sense. Then followed us toward the front of the restaurant yelling and swearing in front of other customers. Instead of simply letting us leave, she continued the confrontation in front of the entire dining room. In most restaurant incidents, it's the customer who creates the scene. In this case, it was the manager who refused to let the situation end. Even after telling us to leave, she continued following us and berating us instead of simply allowing us to walk out. We have over 20 years of experience in hospitality. We've all dealt with guests who didn't enjoy a meal. It happens. You replace the dish, offer another option, or remove it if appropriate. You don't blame the customer for their opinion of the food, swear at them in the dining room, or continue arguing after they've asked multiple times to simply pay and leave. As we were leaving, Jenny sarcastically told me, "Enjoy writing your one-star review. You got what you wanted." The truth is that's not what I wanted at all. I wanted to celebrate my fiancée's new job, enjoy dinner, and if one dish wasn't for me, simply order something else. In fact, I was looking forward to trying the homemade mozzarella sticks. The one-star review isn't because of the food. It's because of how we were treated. Personally, if we don't like the food, we simply don't come back. If the owner reviews the security footage from that evening--when I handed her my card, when she blocked us from leaving the booth while yelling and pointing toward the door--I believe it will speak for itself. Our waitress, Jocelyn, was great. One dish out of four ordered was good. The price point was a little high for the quality. We prob won't return. I'm a sucker for bolognese so that was my choice; my hubs got the trio special with lasagna, ravioli, and chicken parm. His was very good. The sauce on mine was missing the depth you get with longer cooking times, and was a little too sweet for me. I didn't really care for it. I also enjoyed the warm bread and oil brought to the table. My mom didn't care for her pasta and my dad thought his pizza was just okay -the green pepper seemed pre-cooked and was all lumped in the middle instead of spread out. On a cold, Wednesday night, this place was very busy. Now I know why. We were seated in a back area where the ventilation seemed inadequate. Our table was too close for a comfortable meal, on both sides. So we moved. When I asked our server for a Michelob on draft, he looked puzzled and told me he wasn't sure they had it. I got water. The food arrived in short order and was terrific. I enjoyed every bite. My table mates loved their meals too. Good job. Our server never returned to top up our drinks until I flagged him down. When it was time to pay the bill, our server mixed up our checks and charged me for the wrong tab. My table mate had his credit card run on my bill. I have been twice, both times we were the only people there. I was in once for dinner and once for a late lunch. The service on our second visit was good, hence 2 stars. Placed order for 4 items, 1 dinner, a small pizza, a large pizza and garlic bread. The larger pizza was $18.95 and arrived burned. I requested a refund, at first they offered $5 I said the pizza was $18.95 so they upped the offer to $7 still not even close to an un-edible $18.95 pizza. I called the restaurant and they said it would have to be handled through Doordash. Door dash now refuses any refund. I will never use their service again if they are not going to be responsible for errors. Napolinos also needs to take responsibility they burned the pizza read more

A place to just hang out and enjoy good Italian food. I found the service a little bit slower than usual but because of the friendly staff, and the great company I was with, it was hardly noticeable. If you come in hungry, you might not like the extended wait time. As for the food, the calamari was just okay, I like it with additional ingredients to spice things up. I particularly did not like the plastic containers for the sauces that pretty much did not blend in with a more formal ambiance. They should invest in reusable sauce containers, that I would give a two stars rating. The pasta was al dente enough, and the sauce was just okay. The pizza was the best part of the meal and the service. Overall giving them a three and a few stars with room for improvement. read more

Approximately a week ago we ordered a take out order as we have done many other times in the past. We picked it up and headed home. Opening the bag and beginning to eat it we found first of all the soup was way over salted that it was just horrible!! So we set it aside and started on the pasta dish. Again so much salt that we threw the entire dish out .... I had cereal for dinner. I called the restaurant and spoke to who I believed was the manager when I told her how bad it was she seemed to know already by saying "was it too salty " before I even mentioned it. She said I could return it and they would remake it ... 25 min ride each way . I said we eat there often and I just wanted them to know it happened . About a week later we again stopped in and I spoke to the same manager about the salty take home dinner. She said she remembered my call and that she checked with the kitchen ...nothing more, not even an apology. We did have a good dinner that night and the food was good as usual but the fact that she really cared less has left that salty taste in my mouth and we will no longer stop at that restaurant. read more

We dined at Napolinos on Sunday, January 11, 2026 First, we are long term customers having eaten at Napolinos numerous times since 2010. Sunday, our usual group of friends dined at the restaurant. Service was unusually slow but the worst of our experience was the food. No one enjoyed the food. My dish was returned to the kitchen right at the start because of several issues: both sides were incorrect and the dish was swimming in the sauce I ordered on the side. Chicken was extremely dry. The side of pasta was severely undercooked. The worst meal I have ever been served at Napolinos. I ate the chicken, left the pasta and paid my bill. It is going to be a long while before I go back. While I won't speak for others, most did express both surprise based on their previous experience and dissatisfaction with their meal. read more

We felt like calamari so gave Napolinos a try. We had Calamari, Spaghetti and Meatball and Salmon with mushroom risotto. We did this as a take out order. The Good 1) The atmosphere of the place feels really authentic and it was busy with a lot of diners 2) They have live entertainment - there was a gentleman walking around singing old style songs and he was good 3) They have a large menu selection 4) They have a separate area where you pick up take out, which made it easier 5) Service was friendly and efficient 6) The salmon was really good and well prepared, as were the fresh veggies that came with it. The Not So Good 1) The calamari was completely unseasoned - I mean completely. We've had calamari from about 3 places so far since moving here, and this was our least favorite 2) The spaghetti and meatball was just okay. The meatball was the best part of that meal 3) While the salmon was good, the mushroom risotto that came with it was really sweet. I did not care for it at all. Four of us ate an early dinner at the restaurant today. Right from the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. The ambiance,, service, and food were amazing! We sat in one of the booth areas which made it easy to hold a quiet conversation. Our waiter "Angelo" was very helpful and attentive throughout our entire meal. Two of our friends ate the Grouper, one ate the pizza and I ate the Penne Vodka Pasta. All of our food was outstanding and my Vodka pasta was the best I have had since moving to The Villages 7 years ago! Had only been for pizza before so this time we tried the pasta dishes. I can honestly say my dish was one of the best I've had in a long time ! It was the salmon and shrimp on the Chef Specialty section of the menu. The seafood was cooked perfectly and the cream sauce with linguini and sun dried tomatoes and spinach was to die for. The salmon had been grilled and had a nice crust on it that didn't get soggy with the sauce. Choice of soup or salad. Brought 1/2 of my meal home to savor another meal! Other item ordered was the special tour of Italy. Had ravioli, chicken parm and lasagna. Husband ate every bite. No leftovers there! He had the salad and it had a nice surprise of having banana peppers on it. We will definitely be back!! Oh and Vinny was a great server. Gave us suggestions, checked on us the right amount. Came here with a group of eight for a special evening for some Italian food and live music. We arrived early and the place was relatively empty b it quickly filled up. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I went to the bar a got a martini while the rest of our party arrived. Bartender was welcoming. My friends were regulars and recognized by the staff. Everyone was super friendly and service was great. The bread came out with a delicious dipping seasoned oil. Everyone raved about their dish that they ordered. Up North, places that have signs in the window " pizza" and " restaurant" are formica counter type places. Not in Central Florida. So far all these places have been real restaurants. This place has a classic Italian restaurant interior, which I did not expect from its strip mall location. The lunch was very reasonably priced, especially since it came with bread with oil, and salad. We tried " Chicken pizzaola", which we had never heard if, and googling returns many different presentations of. It was a very nice dish with cherry tomatoes. Server Mirco has an nice accent and did a great job. Conveniently located on Route 301, we will certainly return. read more

This place was charming. We were greeted by a very happy , smiling hostess who said to the waitress waiting to seat a patron " take them to an alcove please". I paid no attention to this. The alcove was a quaint booth for four people, very private and old world sweet. The waitress , a very smiling accommodating woman did an incredible job taking our complicated drink orders. What a jewel she is. The menu was really true Italian. The food was excellent. Coming from an Italian background for 52 years I'm a critic,but this was very good. I have to be on a low sodium diet AND I'm gluten free. This makes dining out difficult. I usually get a salad and plain grilled salmon. Not at Napolino's!!!!! The waitress was knowledgeable, and after listening to my needs and what dishes I was interested in, asked the chef what could be made for me. Moved up from Miami and was looking for a good pizza. Tried many places, and Napolinos was by far the best around. Unfortunately, they are terrible people that take advantage of their customers! Beware, when you get your check, they pad the cost of food & wine especially when you have a Wildwood Middle School discount card! We gave them the benefit of the doubt and the pizza was so good we went back a few times, but every time we had a problem. I do have the receipts that show padded prices...Example: The chicken parm is $21.95 on Menu, but my bill says $22.95. The Eggplant parm is $19.95 and my bill says $20.95. I'm not a cheapskate and I am a big tipper. But it's the principal of it all, making us older folks look like fools! The Manager is a liar and works with the waitresses to take advantage of their senior citizen customers. So, if you do go....Check the prices & beware! read more

Our party of 6 went for Valentine's Day dinner at 6:30. A little disappointed in the limited special menu, but everyone found something they wanted. The server, Vinnie, took a very long time to take our drink order, then to bring the drinks, and never came back to take our food order. When we flagged him down walking by, he actually said "I'll be there when I get there". The hostess was aware of the delay and assigned another server to us, Lisa, who was great. The huge Sangrias that 2 people ordered were tasteless and were sent back and taken off the bill. The Salmon and Shrimp dish that 2 of us had was delicious. The Beef B dish did not appear to have the cheese and bread crumbs as stated in the menu and was only average. The Chicken Frances was good but had so much sauce that the majority of it had to be poured off. First time dining @ Napolinos... it is a very mixed review! Friendly greeting upon entering - waitress was "nice" and friendly when we saw her. Felt like she was more interested in cleaning and chatting with FAMILIAR customers and employees than waiting on us. Still tipped about 20% not sure she was worth it... Bread with flavored oil AND butter was great! Served hot, butter was soft and oil was good. Meals came with soup or salad. See pic for soup - husband dug thru the soup (ordered pasta fagoli) felt like it was more bean soup... very disappointed! Salad had mushy croutons, terrible tomatoes. Would've preferred just lettuce than crappy veggies. Ordered the Chix parm and it was good. Also ordered the trio of Italy. Also good... just presentation on plate as so unappealing. I ordered a extra large Margarita Pizza-carry out. When I got to pick it up, no one was there to give me my pizza that was sitting on top of the stove. Waitresses passed by, but no one came. I finally Grabbed a waitress and said..."is someone here?" It had been about 10 min so far. The waitress I talked to went in the back looking for someone and finally came to check me out. Thank You. I use to love Their pizza..but...yesterday I picked up a $22.00 margarita pizza...extra large for a party. WhenI got home and opened the pizza box, it was not extra large as in the past, but was about the size of a large. Too much room in the box, compared to past orders. The margarita pizza was sooooo horrible! The sauce was like tomato paste that was spread on the crust and some mozzarella slices. No tomato's. The first bite was tomato paste sweet thick sauce....everyone said....this is not a margarita pizza! The crust was also bad. No one would eat it, it was so disgusting. For $22.00 I feel like I was robbed. It could have made one at home that tasted better. I will never order from them again. They should not advertise something that they can't make.
