Jason is extremely personable; he takes the time to answer your questions and makes sure that you understand. He wore shoe covers when he entered the house as well. UPDATE (June 2026):…read more Update: We just had John back out for our 11-month builder warranty inspection, and once again, he proved to be the best investment we made in our home! With our builder's warranty about to expire, we wanted absolute peace of mind. John brought out state-of-the-art tools, including Infrared Thermography (Thermal Imaging), to map surface temperatures and check for hidden moisture, mold risks, or missing insulation behind our walls. He found things we never would have noticed on our own!As always, his communication was perfect, he was right on time, and his pricing remains completely unbeatable for this level of elite service. True to form, he delivered our incredibly thorough, professional report less than 24 hours after the inspection. If your one-year warranty is coming up, do yourself a massive favor and call John. He is a true professional who consistently goes above and beyond! ORIGINAL (July 2025) We had a fantastic experience working with John as our home inspector. He was punctual, responsive, and provided an extremely thorough and detailed inspection report. What really stood out was his follow-up after the inspection - he took the time to check in and see if we had any questions, which we really appreciated. His pricing was very fair - we compared quotes from three other inspectors, and John's rate was not only competitive but came with a level of service that exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed with his work that we've already hired him to come back for a follow-up inspection after our builder completes the necessary repairs. We highly recommend John to anyone in need of a reliable, knowledgeable, and professional home inspector.

We can't say enough good things about Doug and Kate. Two of the best people we have met here in Key…read moreWest. Doug is a killer inspector in the best way possible. He spends hours checking EVERY detail and documents EVERYTHING meticulously. Gives you a run down during and after immediately upon completion. Then sends over the entire report which includes even the most minor of details with a description of exactly how to fix them or who to contact to fix them. He will be one hundred percent honest while also keeps honest rates for his services. His wife, Kate, is quite possibly the cherry on top of this amazing business. She is on top of ALL the details. Nothing gets by her. She talked me off the ledge many times when the key west real estate market seemed never ending and impossible. Seriously two of the most amazing humans and you won't regret hiring them!!! Above and beyond service in every way possible. We walked in expecting just an inspection and walked away with our perfect home and two new friends to celebrate with. Thank you Doug and Kate!! We could not have done any of it with you both! The home inspection itself was solid. Jamie was on time, professional during the walkthrough, and…read moreseemed knowledgeable about the major systems in the house. The report was clear enough and covered the basics I needed to know. However, the experience after the inspection was less positive. Over the following week, I received multiple emails asking--sometimes practically begging--for a five-star review over multiple platforms. I understand that small businesses rely on feedback, but the persistence felt unprofessional and unnecessary. It put a sour note on what had otherwise been a decent experience. Overall, the inspection was fine, but the pushy follow-up makes me hesitant to recommend without reservations.
