Thanks to Heidi B., we've been on 2 tours of this firehouse over the past year. This past time there were close to 20 kids and 6 or 7 moms and caregivers. Kids ranged from about 1-6yrs old(I think). So it was a big group with lots of very active kids. They were each absolutely captivated by the tour, safety talk, watching a fireman put on ALL his gear, and the chance to sit in a real fire truck all in a real working firehouse! The firemen were so generous with their time and patiently answered all our questions and let us take lots of pictures. At the end each child got a plastic fireman helmet and a badge sticker. Major swag to the little ones! Our tour was such a thrill for all of us.

I asked if they could please call with a reminder and we're due for an inspection so I stay in compliance with fire codes. "No problem" they told me. "We'll call every year when you're due". They lie. When the next year came around and I had to call them again, they got the inspections done and the extinguishers tagged. I decided to give them the opportunity one more time to provide us with the service we need, which they promised to do. However, the lies continue. Nobody called this year, and my tags are overdue. We're late with our inspections, and the fire department wrote us up. I'm a firm believer in customer service. If you provide us with good service, we'll keep you on the payroll. I didn't even shop around. All they've got to do is schedule a visit. It's money in the bank. A sure thing... No problem for me. They are over priced and it is allowed simply because annual fire alarm inspections and repairs are…read moremandated by the Naperville Fire Dept for condo buildings resulting in Total Fire & Safety being a monopoly and charging whatever amount they want. Year after year they fail to upload the annual fire alarm inspection report to Brycer Compliance Engine which provides the inspection report to the Naperville Fire Dept. Condo building inspections are done every October and there is an additional fee to send an email to Brycer with inspection report. Every year, at end of November, Condo Association gets calls from City of Naperville stating they have not received the inspection report. Condo Association has to call Total Fire & Safety to have them send it. Again every year, at end of December, just like today, Condo Association gets another call from City of Naperville, and now this year from a contract/attorney office to get the inspection reports sent in ASAP or face fines. I called Total Fire & Safety and got attitude and talked over. The Condo Association has looked into changing inspection companies, but they are all over priced which enforces the monopoly of overpriced service for these types of business.

Hoping it would be a metro train it wound up being freight......Okay so now I'm deathly afraid to let go of a huge fart because I may fill my underwear and pants up....so the train was moving fast and then started slowing....by the time it ended I could barely hold the muddy river inside of me. I finally get to the shell by the antique store and across from the school in a moderate traffic jam still afraid to let out a fart. I go inside and ask for the bathroom and the kid points, I start making my way back to him, turn around to go back and a fart came out I just could not hold. My god, half of it came out. So now I'm running late, I decided since I ruined a pair of underpants and nice pair of dress pants I'm gonna have to stop at Target. So as I'm pulling up into Targets parking lot at Winfield and RT38 Mr fireman and friends are at the Boston market WITH there ambulance buddy's....they could not even park their trucks, they are angled in front blocking everyone with their lights on as they stuff their faces. So as I get into target I'm walking over to the men's section I hear this 2 young girls say " hey mom, look it, it's Mr. Poopy pants" how embarrassing I go to the dressing room and there is a huge skidmark on my pants. thankyou Winfield fire department, your dumb actions nearly costed me a client while you go stuff your faces.

This town is a dump, and has nothing going for it other then CDH. The winfield police and schools are pathetic as well, do I feel safe in this town? No! Why? Two to three cops on duty at once. In fifteen years I can't say I've seen the police patrol my neighborhood In day light. Forget your car car in the street at 2:15 am BAM instant ticket. They only patrol the neighborhoods when it financially benefits them. The schools are small and dumpy with poor excuses as educators. Just terrible overall.

They had a lease which was paid on for 5 years at $650 a month $39,000. The company sent us a bill for the $650 a month and expected us to continue to pay them this much (probably what put the last guy out of business). This building had leaky roofs, humidity problems, and had been unoccupied for almost 3 years, their equipment had been held under horrible conditions and was 5 years old. they wanted us to pay $17,000 to buy the ABUSED equipment or pay the $650 a month. We priced out a brand new system for $10,000 - $14,000. I offered them $11,000 , which I thought was generous and they refused it. I asked them what a box of old used equipment would be worth after I take it out and give it back to them, the president of the company said they would just reinstall this equipment in a new business. This may be your business if you are thinking about using this company. They tried to strongarm us by going to the fire department and disconnecting us, and then told me that they were coming to take their equipment out including their wires in the wall and all the pipes in my walls, and "yes there would be natural damage to my walls when they did this". I refused them entry and told them I will have their equipment removed by my new alarm system provider, and they still tried to force their way into my building. Because they were greedy they turned down $11,000 and instead will get a box of garbage equipment.
