Having been to other weddings where the DJs spoke non-stop and handed out glow sticks and feather boas, I knew what I didn't want at my wedding. When we spoke with Josh we loved his clam laid back demeanor, and were reassured by his prompt reply to all of our emails and phone calls. Josh has a great on-line system which allows you to select favorite songs (and ban those pesky songs that everyone hates, but still manages to be played at way to many weddings - "We Are Family" by Sister Sledge anyone?...). Josh kept our friends and family dancing all night, spoke only when necessary to keep things going smoothly, and took the time to speak with us to get the general vibe we wanted at our wedding. After we signed the contract, DJ Jeremy and his business partner and wife Jeannine sent over comprehensive guides of what they needed from us prior to our wedding date. It was very helpful to have organized requests and made it easy to share everything I was envisioning for wedding day, from ceremony music to cake cutting music to of course the dance floor music. He was extremely detail oriented, double checking with us on the exact timing of some of our selected songs (e.g. playing a song right as we had our first kiss).
