I am an amateur metal worker, who likes to build various things with bits of metal. Usually, I need…read morea foot or so of steel, or a couple of inches of aluminium, etc. There are a couple other metal suppliers in the Albany area but they don't like to deal with me because (1) I am not a pro, and (2) I don't want to order a 20' stick of something. This is a great place to go for steel, stainless, and aluminium. They don't really stock a lot of brass, and I haven't purchased much of their stainless. They had a "drops" rack which is great for picking up odds and ends of stuff. The staff is super friendly, Diane is exceptionally helpful at special orders, and their dog "Pip" is cute. And they have Saturday hours, too.

Responded in 24 hrs. Talked with me about my design and believed they could help me but we both agreed we should meet in person. They were gonna be at a vendor fair the next week. We met, and what a beautiful family. Even with my odd description of measurements. They got it. The price was beyond reasonable. I put in a second order, for another large sign, and now we are designing and large 3rd sign.And these are not little signs. They run 5-8 ft. They are so sturdy and so we'll crafted. The installer stayed" Yvette these signs are so heavy and good quality they're going to last longer than the building".
