My fiancé and I were traveling to Napa from San Francisco when we noticed our power steering was no longer working a few weeks ago. It was late on a Friday afternoon and, since many auto repair shops are closed on the weekends, we were a little worried about getting our car repaired before we drove back to the city. We went to Napa Garage on a whim and were amazed by the fantastic service. We worked with Felipe and Manny, who were able to quickly diagnose the problem (our belt was completely shredded), fix the issue, and even replaced another part so the problem wouldn't repeat itself so quickly. They were able to fix our car in a timely manner and with a good attitude--both of which certainly put our minds at ease and helped us enjoy the rest of our stay in wine country. The only downside is that they're not in San Francisco! After the wonderful experience we had, we'd certainly make them our go-to garage. read more

Llevé mi carro a arreglar los frenos y me lo entregaron supuestamente bien pero unos días después casi tengo un accidente que pudo haber sido catastrófico porque no le pusieron un tornillo a una de las bases donde va la pastilla y arruine mi rim y lo bueno fue que esto pasó en un parking porque de haber sido en freeway hubiera provocado accidente porque la base de la pastilla se fue hacia adelante y bloqueó completamente mi llanta delantera. Después le hice saber al encargado del taller y con una voz muy poco amable me contestó y se puso en modo defensa que no lo queria arreglar no hacerse responsable de lo sucedido y al final si lo hizo pero fue hasta cuando se le dio la gana y tuve que perder dinero en rides para recoger el carro ida y vuelta. No lo recomiendo para nada y si alguien va a ese lugar pidan facturas para tener una manera de demostrar cualquier cosa... me dieron unos rines viejos en compensación de los arruinados porque se le hizo agujero y se salía el aire por el rim... read more

I went here after being treated super rudely by the folks at Big O Tires. I am so glad I did. Just loved these guys. And father-son shop who totally understand customer service. They took me right away and did a great job on my Mini Cooper and I was in and out for about $70 maybe less. There is NO need to put up with the attitude at the corporate Big O store anymore (where the "customer service center located who-knows-where tells you to come on down for an oil change only to be greeted by some indignant employee who chastises you for showing up bc "the person on the phone has no idea what's actually going on at the store. Like I am supposed to know that?) Visit this locally-owned garage and keep rolling along. read more

0 stars! I was recommended this place by a family member so I thought why not I can trust them, WRONG! I called Napa garage to install a simple dash cam and fix my visor and they said themselves it was an easy maybe 1 hour installation but yet they kept my car for 3-4 days and everyday I called to check in my car was pulled out because they had "other things to do". If they didn't have time for me why would they ask me to bring in my car? I had to call them to find out my car was even ready, they didn't bother calling me and once. When I get there they told me that the dash cam wasn't even meant for my car and it isn't placed right on it. If they knew that why didn't they call me to tell me within the 3-4 days of it being at they're shop?? Instead they waited until I had pick it up to tell me this and after I payed for they're shitty services. My boyfriend called the shop to politely ask if they could uninstall my dash cam so I can return it and they said that they could as long as we pay for the labor and when he explained that we didn't know that it was the wrong device for the vehicle, Manny said that "it was costumer request" yes we only requested it because they said it was an "easy job so no problem". I made the mistake for trying out a different place in Napa due to their stellar yelp reviews... never again! Napa Garage has always been reasonable, honest, and efficient. They are super accommodating and are even open on Sundays! They can handle major and minor repairs and we also use them for our routine oil changes/tune-ups. Highly recommended! read more

I was referred to Filipe by a customer at my job. Being a women I was very concerned about being taken and over charged. I asked Manny to take pictures of the repair and he complied to my request. I conferred with friends regarding my repair quote and was told I was getting a good deal. Today in our world we find the younger generation is not as respectful as us, the older generation. Not Manny, kind, courteous and confident. I went to let Filipe let him know what a great job Manny done and will continue to be a customer. Not surprising Manny is his son. Super grateful for Napa Garage. On a road trip from Southern California just 30 minutes away from Napa I ran over a tire tread on the freeways at a pretty fast speed. I pulled over immediately since there was a strange noise. Part of the air intake system was ripped out. Napa garage was able to take my car in immediately and put it back together less than 2 hours later. If I lived in Napa I would definitely come here for my car repairs. Thanks guys! read more

I would like to say Chris was extremely helpful and accommodating with what I needed done to my 2001 Isuzu rodeo. Normally I can get my car fixed just fine, but my radiator was not wanting to do what I wanted it to do on my own. I told Chris what was up and he quoted my a very reasonable price with what I had on hand (had the parts and everything ready to go). He even replaced the troubled hoses and provided screw in hose clamps for me so next time I work on y car it won't be such a hassle. I came here needing my headlights fixed only to find out it's a sensor. They called around for the part asked if I could pick it up and apologized for not being able to pick up themselves. I was more than willing as I was just a walk in. They gave me a great price and got me in and out quick. I highly recommend this place! read more

Our recent visit at Napa garage was unpleasant. I had my AC diagnosed at here and Manny was the guy helping me. We didn't get informed how much is cost for the diagnosis when we dropped out my car. Later of the day Manny's diagnosis was the compressor was fried and if we don't fix it at Napa Garage we have to pay $130 for the diagnosis. I appreciate their work but I can't afford spend $1300 to fix at there yet so I decided just pay for the diagnosis and when I went picked up my car. I paid for the diagnosis. They say my car is ready when there were two big dusty parts of my car were sitting in my back seat. I have to go back to the shop ask them to put those parts back. They did it without apologizing. When I got home I realize Manny didn't give me a physical copy of the diagnosis. I asked him if he can email me the diagnosis. He said I have to go back to the shop to pick it up next week. They don't do email:( Fine. And the following Monday I texted Manny 15mins a heads up before I went there at 5:30pm. When I walked in, I saw Manny just started writing my diagnosis. All in all, my experience in Napa Garage is very frustrating. I wouldn't able to comment if they are a good mechanic or not because I didn't get my car fixed there. On the other hand, I'm not comfortable to have them to fix my car. And I definitely wouldn't recommend my friends and family to go here read more

Just moved to Napa and needed to find a good mechanic who's trustworthy and reliable. Think we found the place! They were extremely friendly and didn't try to sell me anything unneeded. My boyfriend and I both have old cars that constantly need maintenance, I'm happy to have a place so close that I can go to now. read more

What a breath of Fresh air! This is the only place I will now bring my vehicles to. Being a woman and having to deal with mechanics is a very scary ordeal! I brought my daughters Mini and and could not have a nicer experience! The car was fixed at a VERY reasonable price! BMW gave me a list of all these things that "needed to be fixed" ASAP and quoted me more than what the car is worth! When all said and done I did not pay 20% of what BMW quoted. I have since brought another vehicle there and had the exact same experience, so happy I found this garage. If you want to be treated fair, this is the place to go! read more

So friendly and helpful. My car battery died while I was getting gas right next door - completely fried and wouldn't even turn on. They came over and jumped it for me and replaced my battery right then. Only took twenty minutes, reasonably priced, and they were so accommodating. If I could give a lower star I would because this place has no idea what they're doing! We have taken our vehicle there time after time for the same issue and they never fix it. Our vehicle seems to be getting worse every time we take it in!! Thank goodness what they installed is under warranty because I would never pay for their service.
